Can pretty much run anything you throw at it and I’ve been testing the limits with ray tracing and render distances on Minecraft and other games.

So, to begin, the wire that they provide to connect from DVI to DVI for the side panel display was an inch and a half short. Best Buy said I’d have to buy a new wire, though I did buy the total tech and the 3 year warranty. The 2 USB ports on the top won’t work together at the same time, so you have to choose one and hook the other in the back. The main kicker for me was that I’m a console player by nature, so I enjoy playing with controllers. Tried 2 wireless Microsoft controllers, and they keep disconnecting.
Went to Best Buy and was told by the geek squad has to be a cheap Bluetooth setup in the PC and how IBUYPOWER is notorious for horrible customer service and faulty parts. Personally went through an ordeal where a part went out within a few months of purchase and they wanted me to pay $400 for shipping cost. Figured I’d get the 3 year Warrant my through Best Buy since they have done well for me in the past, but this was a let down to say the least. Returning computer tomorrow.

Good value for the money

I chose to return one of these and purchase a different one, from a different location because of random Windows crashes. (Without XMP enabled.) I noticed in both the returned system and the one I have chosen to keep, the CPU Cooler screws were loose, not even close to being considered "hand-tight." Which I think attributed to the random crashes in the first system and the terrible -initial- thermal readings of the system I kept. Both systems also lacked the proper adapter /or connector for the LCD side panel to function as intended.
If I were to give my take on My individual Build from iBuyPower and tell you what iBuyPower in addition to BestBuy wouldn't want you to hear with the bad starting first, working toward the good:
HDD [Western Digital Blue 1TB] was not formatted or recognized by system. Had to have the local GeekSquad guy tell me I (as well as the Builder(s) who pieced my System together,) overlooked allocating the space for the secondary drive.
Memory is mid-shelf, good-enough-sort-of. [ADATA 1.2v 2666Mhz DDR4 16GB (8GBx2Sticks)]
(Replaced Above with a Corsair Vengeance LPX 1.35v 3200Mhz C16 DDR4 32GB (16GBx2Sticks))
CPU Cooler is a good fit for stock clock speeds. [Deep Cool GAMMAXX 400 (120mm heat spreader)]
(Replaced with Corsair H100x Closed-loop liquid cooler, which if you're going to Overclock [most people shouldn't,] is essential for even a MILD OC.)
Case Fans [Arc White LED .12A@12V 120mm] are cheap, but serve function to backlight the sidepanel.
Motherboard is up-to-par. [MSI Z370-Pro-A]
Power Supply is up-to-par. [UNSURE OF BRAND 850w 80Plus Certified]
SSD is up-to-par. [ADATA 240GB]
CPU is up-to-par. [Intel i7-9700k]
Graphics Card is up-to-par. [ZOTAC 11GB RTX 2080Ti AMP Edition]
3 Free Games through NVidia/EA Games [Battlefield V, Metro Exodus, and (even though it's being reportedly boycotted) Anthem.]
The Case has been quite the saving grace: less for the LCD side panel not functioning out of the box.
The Snowblind case has enough room for the Corsair H100x 240mm radiator in the front.
Closing thoughts: Would have been able to build a system with a 9900k liquid cooled, better memory, blah blah. I didn't have to build/wait for delivery and that is the main convenience here.
TL:DR = Worth the price, despite issues.

Great Buy

As an avid PC gamer and PC builder, I saw this jewel one day at Best Buy and decided to ask the rep about it. Finally, someone with knowledge about PCs and building skills, actually had answers and other thoughts/insights about my question. With the motherboard, it actually performs splendidly with the 9th gen i9 9700k (for overclocking if wanted). The CPU, seriously cant get any better and the case itself is well built for durability and airflow for max coolness. The fans are solid and literally with mine, I get 0 noise complaints. Its so freaking quiet even running at ultra settings on various games. I am a streamer so I'm running a lot of programs and a lot vram and ram itself constantly. Still the fans are incredibly quiet and keeps my cpu and card extremely cool. The rtx 2080 ti is phenomenal and with not all the support you want right now from nvidia for their ray tracing cards and not a lot of support from developers yet, this card performs circles around the rest for all bench tests, ie fps at high settings across various games and for the price alone...well, its worth it in this machine. The ram is intro ram for anyone. Just buy corsair 3200 if you want, and buy a dvi to thunderbolt 3 cable for the side lcd. But overall, for a 1500$ Graphics card, 400-500$ CPU and 100$ case, this is just as great or better as building your own. This is also rebuildable to those who wanna upgrade it in the future or swap for LED fans and new ram. Replace for a watercooling system or the such. But I am solely reviewing the product. I have had zero issues with the build, running programs or anything. I'm not rating it 4 for a short cord, that's ridiculous, its about how this works. For me, programming, music, gaming, streaming and video...its beyond amazing at face value. I use the mouse that came with it on my gaming laptop and its pretty decent for an intro gamer or casual gameplay and the keyboard may be a little clunky and mechanically loud for me but again, if its all you got, its good and serves its purpose. The LCD screen on the side is wonderful but make sure you download rainmaker from msi downloads to use it, it wont tell you in instructions or youtube videos, trust me. So again, for whats inside this build, you cant ask anything better for the price unless you pc bargain or cut value, I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the time to build a new PC like me.

Requires Display Port to DVI Cord & Display Ports
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I bought the IBuypower Snowblind not only for its amazing specs, but the lcd side panel it came along with. During the unboxing, it came along with a small dvi to dvi cord. Keep in mind that the RTX 2080 ti no longer supports dvi cables which left me to buy a Display Port for my gaming monitor to achieve that 144 hz. The dvi to dvi cable is pretty much useless knowing that it can't be connected to the graphics card so you need to buy a Display POrt to DVI cord if you want to use that LCD Side Panel. Overall the performance on this computer is amazing. It tackles games such as GTA V Online with Fps up to 130-145 at High Settings. The fans are pretty quiet so the noise wouldn't be a problem. So if you're planning on buying this computer, keep in mind that you need to purchase a Display Port to DVI Cord, and if you have a gaming monitor, that has 144 hz, that only came with a DVI Cord then you must as well buy Display Port if you want that 144 hz smoothness while gaming.

Great PC if caught on sale
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Usually build PC's, but I caught this on sale with free games.
RAM and SSD are decent, will probably upgrade/replace in a year or two as prices continue to drop.
PSU seems to vary between 600W and 850W for customers which I find odd. Again, may upgrade this in the future, especially when I prepare to overclock.
Side panel LCD is a nice touch, third party software is needed though. My computer came with the proper DVI-DisplayPort cable. If its missing, I'm sure iBuyPower will send the correct one if you call them.
Motherboard is an MSI z370 A Pro. Ok for the average user, unsure how it will perform when overclocking. Remember to update the BIOS if they're out of date!
2080ti was a Gigabyte brand that unfortunately was DOA. Confirmed this by popping in a GTX1070 I had and that worked fine. iBuyPower support has been great in this matter and sending out a replacement.
Overall, its a great deal if caught on sale and with some free games considering the price of the processor and GPU by themselves. If you don't know how to build a PC, the difference between the regular price and buying parts yourself might be worth the money.
If there are no issues with my replacement card, I will update my rating to 4 stars (4.5 if I could).

Upgrade, that I'm happy with

I upgraded to this PC after my other had an accident when I recently moved.
I use it for streaming and so far it's been so smooth and great with no lost frames or lag when I'm live. It runs my games great and I'm happy with it for the most part. I have already, however, purchased an upgrade in memory (it's only 16 GB)
My complaints if I HAD to say something is the LCD monitor that is the side panel of the case itself is NOT easy to set up, or find out how to add cool stuff to it. And I have searched and searched online for any help to this. I love playing around and figuring things out so this is a challenge I am up for as far as getting rainmeter to work with it.
I also could not use the DVI cable sent to me. It was SO short, but I thankfully had a DVI to HDMI that was compatible and worked with the side panel screen.
I also didn't receive a remote for the LED lights inside, which I did see some people say they had. But I plan on reaching out to IBUYPOWER customer service for this.
All in all, so far I am in love. Would recommend if you have the money to spend on it.

I purchased the snowblind a week ago and it has taken any game I could throw at it. I dubbed it the juggernaut. I would have like the interior to be covered with a little bit more white to better help the screen panel show pictures

I must first admit that PC's are new to me because I have been a Mac person for the past 12 years. I purchased the Snowblind 942 for my son but the wifi stopped connecting after a few days of use. We exchanged it for a 956 yesterday. After getting it home the wrong cable was provided for the LCD side panel. They did provide an insert stating that your connection type may vary but is wish they would just include what you need. I did contact Ibuypower and filled out the needed paperwork to fix the problem. My last issue is that I wish they included instructions on how to use the LCD screen.

Just purchased this PC for my son together into gaming on a PC instead of a console. Also plan to use as a family computer for the rest of us. So far it seems to be a really great buy. All of my kids are enjoying exploring the games available and think the graphics are awesome.
I like the idea that we can use the side LCD panel but unfortunately the cord that came with is the wrong one. Next step is to look into getting the right one, but overall no problems with the PC itself. Loving it so far!

I bought my iBUYPOWER Snowblind recently and it's pretty awesome. Setting it up was a breeze and the LCD side panel is just something to behold.
The box did come with the correct cable despite the nVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti. However, setting up the LCD was less than intuitive. Also installing an NVME drive on the ASRock z390 Phantom Gaming motherboard was a chore.
Otherwise, though, the PC performs as expected and I am loving it.

Very sleek and clean looking console but the directions on getting it started was not clear at all luckily I got commonsense and was able to figure it out. Runs VERY well and the FPS is pretty good and so far can play any games in high graphics settings. So far I'm pleased and no issues so far.
