Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent performance and great value for the price of the TraceMR Gaming Desktop. Many appreciate its ease of use and quiet operation during use, along with the high-quality graphics card. However, some users point out issues with the stock CPU cooler, including noise and potential RAM slot interference. A few also note the absence of USB-C ports and some inconsistencies with the RGB lighting.

I have had this pc for just over a month and it decided to blue screen and crash on me today. Now apparently there is no bootable device and I have no idea what to do. I just spent the last of my money on this pc for it to not work. So I’m very disappointed.

    Good Gaming PC

I bought this during Black Friday for 1149, so the price was great. The specs are an Intel 12700F CPU, Gigabyte 3070, an ASROCK B660M-C motherboard, Team Elite 1 TB SSD and 2 8GB Kingston Fury DDR4 Ram. The RGB looks great, unfortunately, the graphics card is not compatible with the ASROCK RGB Sync, so, you need to install the Gigabyte RGB Fusion software, but its not a big deal. So far it has run everything great, with really high frames. The only reason I didn't give this review a 5 Star is because when I got it, it would not boot up, so I had to take it back to get the RAM reseated, and I've had a couple of blue screens, but got that all fixed now.

Not going to lie, i was uncertain about buying this since i wasnt familliar with Ibuypower... but i am glad i did. Right out of the box it was able to handle *most* of what was thrown at it. I have upgraded it since, but that was simple since there are 4 ram slots and plenty of room for SSD/HDD and the extra slot for a second m.2 nvme drive. Only drawbacks i had for this was the RGB system that came with it, lack of USB-C, and the size of the fan that was attached to the processor (i switched over to a liquid cooling system).

    Amazing switch

Switched over from ps4 and this pc is my first one. Love it. However, since it’s a 3080, I swapped out the psu from the 800w to the Corsair 1000w to give the card room to breathe. If anyone decides to do that, please don’t be like me and forget to take pictures of which wires go where LOL. It took me forever to get the new psu in because of two tiny fan wires. I also swapped out the ram for the Corsair 32gb. And please please REMOVE THE GLASS FRONT PANEL. The pc can’t breathe through glass, so keep that in mind. I have no issues with thermal throttle because now it can breathe without the glass covering three fans in the front. ibuypower please make that make sense LOL. Overall, excellent pc!!! Highly recommend!! No issues on Best Buy’s end either on damaged box or anything. Only 4 stars on value but that’s for ibuypowers end in reference to the 800w psu. For a larger graphics card there definitely should be a larger psu for potential throttle issues.

The Gigabyte 3070 GPU arrived dead on arrival. The screen kept flashing green pixels and the device manager said Error 43. I reinstalled the drivers and reseated the GPU. Nothing fixed it so I am ordering a new one and returning this one tomorrow. Very disappointing.

I finally upgraded my old iBuy after many years. I was a little hesitant due to cost. However, out of box it booted right up, looks pretty, and is functioning well. It's super quiet compared to my last one. I'm still testing some games, but have no complaints. The case and components look sleek. I like that you can expand/upgrade easier than some found on other sites. ordering took a little long to be confirmed (about a week), but the shipping went super fast.

Great Rig for a Great Price

So far so good! I've heard of iBuyPower but never researched them as I usually build my own computers. But the price of parts put the rig I wanted out of my budget this time 'round. As I researched box rigs, the iBuyPower name popped up several times, I finally found the Tracer MR at BestBuy of all places and I couldn't believe the set up for the price! Reviews good, price good, build good - so I pulled the trigger. Setup was pretty easy and this thing is QUIET for all the fans it's running. At this point my only complaint is the RGB synching software. The version that shipped caused antivirus to block and stop it. I downloaded the latest version and only have control of the external fans and RAM. All in all though, I don't care much about RGB and will most likely just shut it all off. This is a very solidly built rig. Packed right, decent setup instructions, and it fired right up. I am a fan and have high hopes for th next couple years!

This computer is a dream. Yes, there are faster machines out there, but after spending 6 months saving, planning, and drooling over specs this was in the sweet spot of finances and capabilities. Seriously this was the best bang for the buck that I could find. I originally planned on building my own machine, but after realizing that I couldn't get close to the specs of a prebuilt for anywhere near the same price I started researching prebuilt computer companies. What do I use it for? -Video rendering (DaVinci Resolve) -graphic and book cover design (mostly Photoshop) -various other graphic programs -Video gaming (BF2042 runs like a dream. I haven't played much else that really tests this thing, but I should be able to play almost anything I wanted at full graphics without too much of a problem. There are some exceptions, but this machine will at least run ANYTHING at high graphics) Pros: 3070, i7-12700 with a 1tb NVMe SSD for a price that I was shocked at. I admit that I had originally wanted a 3070ti, but since there were no builds anywhere near the price point of this one I realized that the speed. Have I mentioned the price? Amazing. And I checked EVERYWHERE: Amazon (I wouldn't suggest it), Newegg (some decent deals), Cyberpower PC website (this was probably the closest for a reasonable price), and Best Buy. Best Buy had the best price (it beat Newegg for the same computer by over $400...and the sale was only $150 off) -This thing is SUPER easy to upgrade. Adding two HDD drives was a breeze and adding RAM and accessing the mother board is better than any computer I have ever worked on. Seriously, I was a bit shocked. Cons: -I wish it had a better power supply. 700 should be fine for most things, but it's going to be holding the overall machine back with high graphic intesive processess. It's fine, but I will be upgrading it in the nearish future. -3200 Memory. And only 16 fgb. It's ddr4 and I knew it. And I was actually in favor of it because upgrading will just be cheaper. However I will probably get 3600 when I upgrade the ram. As for the 16 gb: there are VERY few machines with more ram anywhere NEAR this price. So it's not really a machine specific con. Just all computers at this price point. The cons were ALL things I knew going into the purchase and they didn't stop me even for a moment. This is an amazing mid tier gaming rig and while I thought about stretching for something a bit more expensive, I realized that this computer will meet and exceed all of my needs. I know that some people have mentioned the cooling requirements. Honestly the fans do a great job. I will probably eventually upgrade to a liquid cooling system, but watching the temps I haven't hit anything that worries me. Conclusion: After waiting for MONTHS to upgrade I am very happy with this rig. And getting it for cheaper than just a 3090? Yessir. I'll do it again. Maybe someday I'll go for the upper level machines, but for the vast majority of gamers, video editors, etc. this thing is amazing and at a fantastic price.

Overall. the desktop is good, However the experience is mix bag. Best Buy experience was good. The price was right for the time and no issues there. IBUYPOWER seems to be a good manufacturer, if you buy the computer from them directly. The system had some issues with Light app not working and crashing as well as couple of driver errors that wouldn't go away. Email IBUYPOWER is not an option. They just don't answer. Their website seems not to have much information about their retail computers, driver, software patches. There is a few but the version for the motherboard but their patches are wrong and do not fix the issue . I did end up fixing the issue myself. By searching the motherboard type on the ASROCK website and download the appropriate patches. Take with a grain of salt, if you encounter an issue be prepare to either sent the computer to them or be able to do some research . After issues such lights, windows incorrect drivers were fixed, The computer works great, upgrading memory and secondary hard rive is easy and have no issues there. Not sure if I would buy a gaming PC from them again. Some of these issues should have been spotted during quality control, before ever shipping to the retailers.

4.5 The computer has been very good so far, everything has been running very smoothly, MW2, gta 5, RL, fortnite all max with windows in the backround. some things you may want to know before purchasing: you may not get the exact parts in the pictures, sometimes you get different parts, i got these exact parts: GPU - gigabyte geforce rtx 3070 gv-n3070gaming oc-8gd SSD - Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe Internal SSD | PCIe 4.0 Gen 4x4 | Up to 3500 MB/s | SNV2S/1000G CPU -Intel® Core™ i7-12700F Processor RAM -TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL16 Desktop Memory Module ram MOTHERBOARD - GIGABYTE B660M DS3H AX DDR4 FANS - ibuypower fans cpu cooler - some deepcool fan ( not very good but easily replaceable ) not sure what power supply, but 700w bronze The only con i have ran into so far was the cpu cooler, it idles at around 30-40 with nothing running but with intense games for a long time can run 70-90+, cpu coolers are easily replaceable and pretty cheap though so its fine, this is only a big problem when you dont limit the fps to under 120 for most games. There are 4 slots for ram, to get 2 more sticks of 2x8gb t-force ram is about $60-70. Another small con i found was the RGB software, RGBFusion2.0, it isnt the best but ive switched to OpenRgb which is free and it has been working very well. Overall this system is a beast at gaming and everything else, and does not have preparatory parts so it is very easily upgraded

Great PC! Runs smoothly and overall pretty quiet while I game. No problems with it so far. The antennas it came with weren't that good for getting extra range with the wifi, but that's an easy fix by just buying an extender online. Overall, I really like this PC, especially for the price I paid!

High bipower PC gaming system was our 1st system that we bought this year for our son for christyes we don't know much about PC gaming system but as we were opening the Box it has pretty cool features on it especially that Ellie delights all around the gaming system is pretty accurate and fast very speed the hard drive is potentially quick which is self Built-in device the PC has a lot of graphic out of this world that you can ever imagine the PC gaming system is a system that we're learning as we go with It we parents don't know much about this whole dimension this new world that these kids are entering with all the PC gaming going around it has a lot of graphics To the t By far it is one of the best system I've sing but who am I to say I don't know much about this but what I can't say I buy power PC gaming system is extremely good it's asking me for a 5 star rating Odyssey I give it a 1000 stars This was our 1st gaming system that we purchased definitely I by power will not be the last system that we ever buy considering getting my own next year when I get a little bit better with my son A special shot out to I buy power PC game system It was really easy to set up even if you're not familiar with the gaming system and you can always call eye by power and they will be with you step-by-step all the way So if you're thinking about getting a game system I buy power would be the best way It's for beginners but you can build-up the hard drive-in the computer as you grow old with it There's Dole searching as a beginner you start off and grow old with it and you can make it faster and better it can get expensive I don't recommend you guys to buy AI by power it's only $600 or $800 you're gonna waste your money sometime along the line by anything over $1400 That way you have a good hard drive and enough memory to play all the cool games it's out there I buy powers the best way

Never had an issue. Like a lot of other reviews my CPU did get a little warmer than I was comfortable with, so I upgraded the cooler, but it didn't seem necessarily needed. I've had the PC for about 6 months and never had a problem. Keep in mind it is a PC, so sometimes you do need to Google problems and do updates ( I think a ton of the negative reviews would be fixed by this) I did drive to a store to pick it up bc of all the horror stories about damage in shipping. Overall a great PC, of course you will save money if you build it yourself, but if your willing to waste a few hundred to not mess with it you won't be disappointed.

First of all, phenomenal computer. It feels very solidly built and the aesthetics are sharp as well as clean. I'm not well-versed in building computers, but I had no problems installing the upgraded RAM that I had purchased at the same time. I'm sure 16GB would've been fine but I frequently run multiple programs and upgraded to 64GB. The fans run quiet and I have not noticed any problem with it getting too hot. The only reason that I'm not rating it as a five star is because I had to do a factory reset and the RGB program that had been pre-installed was nowhere to be found upon the second set up. Just go through every step carefully and you won't face the same issues I am. All in all, it is a great gaming computer and you would hard-pressed to find a better or smoother system for the price.

Bought this PC starting a new remote desk job as well as for sim racing and other gaming needs. So far, the graphics card and processor have been amazing. Incredibly quick with no issues in F1 22 while running full ray tracing and HDR. In iRacing I am finding the computer is easily able to keep up with the load without even heating up to the touch. I plan to play more games that have higher demand later as more testing is being done, but so far I can't complain. Only thing I wish is that it came with 32gb of RAM instead of 16gb, but that is easily upgradable in the future if so desired.
