Shipped it to the store and had no problems setting this computer up. The box wasn't properly taped up and opened super easy and the Odyssey G7 Monitor I ordered was trash. But, I returned it for a cheaper but, better Alienware monitor and got free Webroot. I'm still cleaning up and doing cable management but, It's coming together really nice. C:

I'm new to PC gaming and this was a perfect starting place! Hard to beat for the price and runs absolutely wonderfully. Set-up was very quick and easy. Fans are quiet which was very important for me and I haven't had a single issue so far. Definitely recommend!

Solid starting PC right out of the box. GPU is the selling point of this unit- top tier and will be serviceable for some time. Ram has 2 free upgrade slots for DDR4. Fans can be a bit loud at higher performance levels but typically remains 70ish degrees during playtime. Well capable of higher FPS- especially if you add ram. The peripherals suck- Keyboard it comes with is doodoo and the mouse is just basic- definitely upgrade those= -1*. Memory is small out of the box but you can increase it either with an SSD to upgrade hardware or an external hard drive. Wire management is not bad and the power supply is sufficient even for minor upgrades. There is some room in the case for more but not much. Z690 motherboard is solid for this generation of gaming and is compatible with most core upgrades and RAM. Will ultimately be why you would need to upgrade in the next 6 years. WIFI chip is average. Ports are fine- could use more display ports and 2.0 USBs but is suitable for most common setups. Honestly- if they had this PC model- 13th gen core with more ram and same or better GPU and 1-2 more fans- it would be top tier out the box no upgrades needed. I would buy again if this was in my price range.

Very solid gaming pc, got it mostly eotg in store credit after usiing my total tech warrenty before they removed that feature. The computer works gread but I AM VERY DISAPOINTED in the lack of warranty in the new total tech plan. This was the main reason I Baught from them so I could continue to upgrade and if I had any issue I knew I was covered for a discount. Please, Best Buy bring back old total tech terms and benifits, I would pay more for a better subscription.

Bought the PC during Black Friday sale. Owned it for over 6months now. I replaced the power supply to have more headroom, swapped out the Ram to 32gb and added another 1tb ssd. Things to consider, due to aio tubes interfering with the closest memory slot adding additional memory instead of replacing existing would need the aio to be rotated. I replaced the 16 with 32. What I really like is easy upgradeability due to standard components unlike some other brands and great performance out of the gate. All games I play on it run great at 1440p high details. Load times are fast as expected and plenty of performance for everything else. It was on Black Friday sale and at 1499 a complete no-brainer. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this during black friday on sale. Im typically a "build my own" pc guy but I couldnt pass up the black friday price... In fact this is the first deskop Ive ever bought pre-assembled. Im impressed. Solid build, very clean assembly, shipped with foam inserts that you need to remove before powering on (the care put into the packaging was impressive) Everything worked as expected. All the components are generic and easily swappable if future upgrades are a potential thought. My only complaint is the mouse it came with is lame (I use a logitech wireless or a Razor NAGA wired) and the keyboard spacebar squeeks a bit (I think its the way the springs are seated. I pop off the pace bar, make sure there isnt dust and pop it back in place. It is quiet again for a bit)... Easily resolved by a worthwhile razor setup or something along those lines. Its a good investment anyway. The RGB stuff could be easier to manipulate but thats not really a IBUYPOWER issue, its the MSI motherboard and ASUS GPU utilities (Believe me you'd rather deal with that than some BIG BOX Vendors proprietary components/software). I ran a few benchmarks and theyre pretty spot on for the CPU/GPU/Memory combo which again is pretty top end for what you'd see if you did some google searches on similar spec systems. I dont feel like going back to check grammar and punctuation but hope this helps anyone looking at an IBUYPOWER solution.

to much glass, bad AIO, still worth it,...

The build quality is good, cable management was solid, the board is a fine board for the price point, the processor is overclockable, the video card runs cool. Overall, better than I was expecting. However under heavy load the CPU cooler pump would cavitate and the CPU temp would rise.. I think this is due to deciding to mount the radiator above the CPU. While usually that is the right plan, with this cooler the pump is in the radiator which places where air collects (all AIOs have some air in them) right where the pump is. With low pump load that is no big deal, but under high load I think there is a bit of a air lock that happens. This creates noise and increased temps under load. And with modern CPUs increased temps = less time under boost and lower all clock speed. I replaced the AIO and was able to add about 5% to my Cinebench scores before using the extra head room to tweak the overclocking (with the new AIO I am running at 5.1ghz all cores. Last comment is to much glass, The front has 3 pieces of glass and only lets air in from the right side of the front.. To much glass. The glass is high quality tempered glass but I did remove it with a heat gun to improve air flow.. (again, this dropped temps which, you guessed it, improves performance). So why am I giving this 4 stars with both AIO and case issues.. Because the build quality is solid overall. The cable management was excellent, Its a great case (save 1 piece of glass), everything was seated well in the machine, it was packaged well, all the parts were as described, XMP was enabled in the bios, catching an AIO is noisy under sustained 100% load is a bit of an edge case for a QA team that probably has more than enough white noise from all the other machines to catch it. . Its drop in performance was negligible (depending on the benchmarks their QA uses) and well within Silicon lottery ranges. If push comes to shove, I couldn't call it a 3 because I would buy it again, and it was everything that was promised... I am just pushing the value a bit further. But iBUYPOWER if you see this, please get rid of that big chuck of glass on the front cover, let the air flow!!!

Great PC. I’ve been a console player for a majority of my life, just getting into PC these last 2 years. I did a ton of research with IBUYPOWER, CYBERPOWER, OMEN and ALIENWARE being the choices I was comparing. I wanted something more powerful than my XBOX SERIES X so I landed on the RTX 3080 for the ability to play on HIGH/ULTRA settings and having enough power to heavily mod games such as Skyrim, Rimworld, Dragon Age and Fallout. I have had this for about a year and a half and have had no issues. Only complaint is storage space can run up if you are planning on using this to game. I ended up adding a 10TB (WB Black) and a 14TB (Seagate Seawolf) internal hard drives. They both were extremely easy to add, literally plug and play. I also upped the RAM to 32GB from the 16GB. The wiring is pretty organized so nothing is in the way. There are very few games that this has had troubles running on ULTRA settings. Red Dead 2 and The Last of Us were the only two games that I couldn’t run maxed out. Starfield runs smooth as butter maxed out, same with extremely heavily modded (100GB+) Skyrim and Fallout. The fans can run pretty loud at max settings, so that may be something that you may want to upgrade, not sure what brand these stock ones are. Overall I think this was a good purchase.
