I love this movie so I would recommend it to anyone but it is a tear jerker at times.

I wasnt expecting to like this movie as much as I did, but the movie is told in such a refreshing way. It is filled with flashbacks where we see how her life was before the accident. Chloë Grace Moretz is such a talented young actress, you believe her performance from beginning to end, and the supporting cast is great as well. There's great music from great musicians and good songs from the fictional band, Willamette Stone. The end of the movie is a cliffhanger and I really hope they make the second movie to tie it all together.

Wow, I haven't read the book but the movie blew me away. Be prepared to cry because this is a heart wrenching movie.It's basically a coming of age story relayed through present moments and flashbacks as she lays in a coma after an accident. You wonder if you yourself could move on after a tragic accident like that, and it makes you think about what is actually important in life. The young actors also play the parts beautifully and wholeheartedly. Love Chloe Grace Moretz!

Went to see this movie when it first came out in movie theaters with a group of ladies. Really enjoyed the movie...had a little bit of everything in it. I usually am not the type of person who will see a movie twice or even buy it on DVD when it comes out for purchase, but this is an exception because I enjoyed it so very much. Plus my daughter/niece loved it also. Can not go wrong with this movie. Highly recommend all to purchase. Great to have in DVD collection. Enjoy!!!!

I too was in a similar state in my life where it was unknown whether I would survive or not so this movie definitely had my emotions on a high. The acting felt solid overall and it was a simple, but yet complex plot. Not everything felt "perfect" though and I almost think that was a good thing as it did not take the same path as most movies like this do.

A musically gifted teenager's world gets turned upside down one fateful day. We meet the teen as she embarks upon college choices, new love, and navigating high school dramas. As she learns how to cope with all these new challenges in her life, a car accident forces her to determine her destiny. Will she choose to go be with her family or will she stay?

This movie contains love, family, relationship, and death. Is about a 17 year old Mia suffering from a huge crash incident of her family, including herself. Her soul came out to look at the incident that happen to her and the family. After suffering she notice that she had to fight for her own life. Overall good movie to share with family or boyfriends.

The movie was better than I expected. Boy meets girl, girl in accident and then comma, boy wants her to stay and wake up. She sees moments of her short life as family and friends take turns visiting her. May want to have some kleenex ready. Good flashback effects; keeps you wondering what will happen in the end.

well wat i thought about the movie it was really inspirational it makes u think about life and to go for ur dreams and to never give up and it was really great and an excellent movie i hope tht there will be a second part to it because i think it cant stay the way it did and i love this movie

I'm not a real big fan of teen romance films, but as is the case with most of her films Chloë Moretz makes it worth watching. She brings a unique presence and talent to all of her films and this one is no exception. If one is a fan of her, then this one should not be missed.

For some it may be hard to follow the movie's going back and forth from the present to the past, but it really builds upon the suspense for the ending. The entire movie does a fine job of showing how life can change in an instant and how making choices can define our future.

This was such an excellent movie. I particularly like the way the young couple's relationship revolves around music. The end is a cliffhanger that begs you to watch part 2 (hopefully soon). But if you can't wait just read the books. They won't disappoint.

This movie is worth seeing. It's not quite as good as I had hoped it would be, but I still recommend seeing it. I like movies like this, and the better they are done, the more inclined I will be to buy it in order to see it again as I want to see it.

A little depressing but well done. Suggestion for those who think they r invincible. If weather is so bad school is cancelled maybe better to stay home and have family time instead of getting out into the horrible weather and risking an accident

I went in and bought this movie, having read the book, but not ever seeing the movie. The cashier was very helpful and, without spoiling it, told me that the movie was good and she had read the book and enjoyed the movie, too. She was right!

Chloe did a wonderful job bringing Mia to life. You really connect with the character and feel for her. I can't begin to imagine what I would do if I were in her shoes. I had previously read the book and I felt like Chloe was a good fit.

I really enjoyed If i stay because its more than a love story its a story of coping with loss and having the strenght to fight on and how all the little problems in life are irrelevant compared to a huge tragedy in life

This movie is very good, it was for my daughter she had been asking for it forever and I finally got it ordered for her she was so happy when it came and very satisfied with the movie!

I feel this movie was better then some others that everyone has been talking about. This movie was a real tear jerker for me. To watch her weigh a decision of life or death and the struggle of why is great.

This movie was a gift & I was a little unsure about it. Well, any worries I had are gone. The plot & dialogue are well written & without giving too much away I'll just say-have a couple hankies ready to go!
