I would have given it 5 stars if the firmware was a little better. I have had the device freeze a couple of times. Everything is frozen including the time. Had to unplug and plug it back in. It is either firmware or hardware problem but it has been months in between freezes. I gave it a good rating because of what it does. It is an clock/alarm and is another Alexa in the house. I use Alexa for lots of things like turning on/off lights, arming the alarm system and getting the weather. Oh the display will show the local weather temp and general condition. It also has a nice higher quality sound as compared to the Echo Dot. I use it of playing music in the bedroom.

Just what I was looking for in a alarm clock and more. First time setting up some smart home devices. Works very well and was easy. Great sound and simple controls. Very Happy with the purchase.

Was a bit stubborn to set up...almost was going to return, but then it connected to my network and has been flawless since. Nice to have the Alexa function(s) built right into the alarm clock, for me, very handy!

This is really all my 81 year old mom needed a talking clock. The elder tend to forget the days of the week, want to hear they’re favorite songs or even news station. We decided this would be perfect for her, but she’s not used to talking to Alexa so we have to teach her. The setup was a little challenging but overall it’s a great device, the quality, brightness of numbers and sound is wonderful.

Display is good. Sound is good. Issues with WiFi disconnecting.

It is such a convenient alarm clock to use. You simply ask Alexa to set an alarm and she does, and confirms it. We also need multiple alarms set to be sure we both get up in time for work. The only draw backs are that is it not battery backed up. It also is very bright and we had to turn the lighting down low enough to sleep and then it’s hard to read the numbers. We love this alarm clock regardless. We haven’t even begun to use all of the options it provides.

I decided to buy my daughter an iHome AVS 16 for her birthday. She loved it so much and my Grandson was so jealous, he's 11, and decided he wanted one for his birthday also. A week later I gave him his at his birthday party. Everybody was so surprised that he got one. They both are so happy with there presents. I really liked hearing what they thought about how useful it is and does so many different actions. Heck, I decided I wanted one for myself, too. I love it. You can request songs, certain decades of great music or just one, rock, pop, metal or just whatever. I am a music enthusiast and have loved music for quite awhile back starting with The Beatles and before. This device was made for me in that respect. I about to try controlling different things with some of the vast accessories available. All these folks complaining is just funny. Mine works perfect in every respect and is a hit in our house. Guess who's getting one for Christmas, my wife. She loves it too. My new Marantz SR7012 9.2 also works with Alexa. This home will be rocking with music, etc. Now about my shop.

She doesn't like it when i ask Alexa stupid questions but the clock works like advertised nothing special .

I purchased this to replace an alarm clock my husband was using, which was very loud and annoying. I really like having an alarm that will play music. Sound quality isn't the best, but it serves the purpose for what we wanted. We also use it to listen to music sometimes. The lights are a fun feature.

I love how it provides such amazing sound and it Will literally have you thinking the people upstairs can hear you blasting the music but when you go upstairs, you cannot hear a single thing. Great for apartments! And the bass sounds amazing as well.

Thought this would be a difficult set up but turns out it was very easy. Love the fact all you have to do is tell Alexa what time to set the alarm to and if you want it for one day or every day of the week or just weekends.

Easily setup and works great. Gets me up on time each day.

Good speakers and built in Alexa feature is a plus. You get a lot bang for your buck especially if it’s on sale. Hit the snooze and yes you can dim the light on the face of the clock.

My top 3 favorite things about this Alarm Clock: 1. It syncs to Alexa to ask questions, set reminders and obviously the alarms, but I can also control all my other smart home devices that are Alexa friendly like lights or outlets. 2. The alarm sound itself is actually not bad to wake up to in the morning. 3. My favorite part is the display setting for sleep time. I can set the display lights so low that it doesn’t keep me up when I’m trying to sleep or wake me in the middle of the night. Then in the morning, it’s set to brighten up so I can get out of bed!

My daughter loves this radio. She uses it everyday for alarm and listening to music. Alexa comes in handy and is a great feature to have on this radio

A little tricky to set up on network but overall works well. Alexa in an alarm clock is a great idea. Kids can set alarms and timers for remote learning
