There isn't an auto re-set for daylight savings time. ' My big problem is it is difficult to set the alarm to what I want to wake up to- buzzer, music, radio- instructions aren't clear.

Requires entry into the unit itself. Fidelity from the speakers is lackluster at best, but it works. I will live with it, but wish it was more compliant.

Posted .This model has a gentle wake feature. If you don't give the alarm time to ramp up, you will never hear the maximum volume. Gradual wake is adjustable for the Radio, Bluetooth or Tone.

I tried it and felt the same. I cannot in good faith recommend this product as I feel there are a lot of better options out on the market.

Posted .The buzzer alarm starts out low and gradually increases over a period of 30 seconds. If this is not loud enough, you can wake to Bluetooth or radio at maximum volume if you like.

Posted .If all you did is sample the alarm for a few seconds, you did not hear the maximum volume. Most of our models have a gradual wake system that does not startle you out of bed, but gradually increases in volume.

I enjoy listening to music either from the broadcast radio or my iPhone library and it is important that the audio quality is very good. This iHome clock radio exceeded my expectations for something that costs less than $100. Establishing a bluetooth connection with my iPhone 6 was a breeze. At higher volumes the radio has very low distortion and the music pumping out is very clear. Bass is good too. The radio has a good weight to it and I love the metallic mesh grill in the front where the speakers are. Alarms are easy to set and starts at a lower volume and will gradually increase until you press the snooze or alarm button. I also like that you can adjust the display brightness and it can be turned off completely (which I do) for better sleep. Overall I love this radio's design, ease of use, sound quality and price. I plan to buy another one and highly recommend for people to give it a try.

So using Bluetooth as an alarm option doesn't work. Same with the hands free phone. If you use the earphone jack, it will play music and ringtones, but not your alarms set on your iPhone.

Posted .This is incorrect. The iBN43 can be powered off, but as long as it is Bluetooth connected, it will come on when it detects audio.

The Bluetooth and how it's implemented opens up a lot of possibilities, more than I had thought about. There is wake to alarm, wake to FM or wake to Bluetooth. You can also sleep to Bluetooth. The speakers sound good for a bedside radio, with the Bass and Treble control you can make it sound really good, but it's no boom box. The first one the Bluetooth would not pair. First I called iHome tech support that actually had someone on duty to help me at 11pm on a Saturday night! We couldnt make it pair so it it went back to the store and I got another unit. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, well that and this radio doesn't have AM. If it had AM and HD it would blow the socks off of anything there is out there! Still after using it about a week I'm very happy with it and the service from iHome and Best Buy.

I just wish that there was a dock for the iPod. I use it connected via Bluetooth, but I just prefer the iPod to actually dock on the unit. This was the best sound for the money, however, so I sacrificed that preference for the sound.
