Does Not Come with Remote

I bought this for my wife. She loves it even though it didn't come with the remote as advertised. Best buy sent me two of these and neither one had the remote. The model number advertised is iH31B and they sent me the iH32B so I think this had something too do with it. It is compatible with the same remote though. I found the remote on a different website for $20.00 so I'll order the remote from there. Best Buy did try to fix the issue by sending me a second unit and then refunding me $10.00. The sound is good for my wife's taste. I would like a little more control over the built in equalizing settings. I guess I could just use the equalizer on the ipod itself. I do like how the ipod is protected in its own little casing. Once I get the remote this unit will be fine.

Really like this ipod dock, but without the remove you cannot change what you are listening to without disconnecting your ipod :o(

Left speaker quit after 1 month

You get what you pay for with this product. I bought it to bring to the pool since I saw it could run on batteries. I figured the 10 Watts and 8 C battery would result in some good sound, but the sound is really limited to right in front of the unit. If you move out of about a 5-foot radius, you can't even tell what song is playing. My unit came with a remote, but the remote died after 2 weeks. One of the speakers died after about 2 months, or about 5 visits to the pool. Additionally the "Volume increase" button malfunctioned from the start (it changed the unit to Tuner while in iPod mode). If your low on cash, this will get you by, but you may find yourself wishing for a better quality player.

For what I plan to use this for the price was good. I couldn't find any boomboxes under $100. This one sounds good.
