Not only was it loud enough, it had a 5 day setting. You set it initially then forget about it. It will wake you Mon. - Fri at the time you set. Another great feature for me was it had 2 alarm settings which has come in handy . Without reading a review first before I bought, this has been one of the best purchases ever.

Fits newer generation but the back support for the ipod could be better. You have to be careful not to push the buttons with too much pressure or you can push the ipod off the charging connection.

good alarm clock

The radio has a nice sound, not as good as a stereo, but hey, it's not a stereo...lol
