Item returned the second click was missing one of the rubber pads on the bottom. I had something at the house that would work in place of the missing pad. So far so good with the operation not s fan of two trips to get one that seems to work. Just need to question the quality control. Not a long term review I have only had this item for a couple weeks now.

Everyone I know has a iPhone cover---which means this product and most of the other iHome products obsolete. The new iPhone 8, were iHome has a device where you can place the phone for recharging - well guess what, it does not work with the cover. Are you kidding me. It seems their products 5-7 years ago were much better. Talk about moving backwards.

Posted .Thank you for your input. Feedback is very important to iHome.. The iPL24 is compatible with man thin cases. Thicker cases like the otter-box will not work on the dock.
