After testing it in the store, I liked the sound quality. Unfortunately, it was much lower in a class setting, even when everyone was quiet! Long story short, I ended up returning. But, it’s not bad..just not what I expected.

This newer speaker is much more user friendly. Controls on the top of the speaker instead of on the back. They have also added voice response to let you know you have connected with your source device.

There’s no volume control so I guess it’s dependent on other support devices. I can’t use it as I depend on good volume for my poor hearing. I kept it, too lazy to return it. I did have better luck with the Anker Speaker, great volume and clarity. I will say the biggest weakness is the power connection on all the speakers I’ve bought. They should make it capable of plug free charging.
