Great speaker for what I needed

The lights are very soothing also. When I am doing in home calls and operating on battery power however, it only holds a charge through one session. The only draw back.

It might also be a good idea to delete the speaker from the other device and re-do the pairing procedure. Not good quality

Posted .Please "forget" or "unpair" the iBT84 from the connected device. Restart the device and make sure the iBT84 is fully charged. This will reset the audio sound.
Also, keep in mind if you are streaming music from an app or website, the weak WiFi signal can cause audio distortion.

I don't like it

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you had trouble with the setup process.
1. Please charge the speaker for 4-6 hours.
2. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it “discoverable” by turning on Bluetooth
mode (check in Options or Settings).
3. Slide the Power On/Off Switch to ON to turn on the iBT74. The first time the unit is
powered on, it will enter auto-pairing mode and attempt to connect to a Bluetooth.
4. Press and hold the Bluetooth/Speakerphone Button for 2 seconds. The iBT74 will
beep and the Bluetooth status indicator light on top of the unit will flash quickly.
If Color Mode is on, the cabinet lights will flash blue and red.
5.. “iHome iBT74” should appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu. If “Not Paired”, “Not Connected” or similar message appears, select “iHome iBT74” to connect it. If prompted for a passcode, enter “1234” on your device’s keypad.
6. If pairing is successful, 1 beep will sound and the Bluetooth status indicator light will appear solid blue (in Color Mode, cabinet will flash blue twice), indicating the iBT74 is ready to play music. There should also be an indication on your device. If no device is successfully paired within 3 minutes the iBT74 will default to previous mode. Once the iBT74 is paired to a device, it will attempt to autolink when the device is within range (about 30 feet).

Posted .We hope you tried it with more than one device because the other device is also responsible for the sound you hear. This speaker has 5 watts of audio power which is usually plenty.

Great sound...AWFUL battery life

IT DOES NOT last 6 hours even on a full charge. We can squeak out maybe 2 on a good day. It constantly requires charging, which is not what's promised on the website and one of the main reasons it was purchased. Sound is OK, but the battery life makes it hard to enjoy as a true bluetooth device.

Light & Sound all in One

The charging time was much shorter than the 4 hours that the owners manual stated as we connected it to our USB Power Plug Adapter inside the home. While the lights and connectivity to Bluetooth was beyond simple I was not highly impressed when the unit was at full volume and a song had just a little bit of bass to it. The unit seems to come a little short in sound when used to its max but for its price we are satisfied so much that we are planning on purchasing the Ihome color changing alarm system with Bluetooth.
