    Nice little speaker

    I bought this just to have a small speaker on my desk at work to listen to music or to use once in awhile to play back work related audio or video things for a small group. It looks cool and gets the job done. Setup and connecting to my devices was very easy and I’m not the most technologically inclined! I’m happy with the price for the product and would purchase again.

    Speaker Does NOT Light Up with Music

    I bought this item only excited that my search would be over for a speaker. It was quite pricey $53.99, so I thought it would be good quality. My smile soon shrunk when I found out the lights couldn't play concurrently with the music. I thought maybe it was on low battery, so I charged it for a good seven and a half hours, and the problem still wasn't fix. I called iHome customer service, and they weren't much help either. The ONLY way I could play lights with music is if I plug in to the AUX port, and turn on the Bluetooth search mode (Red & Blue). That's not what I wanted. I wanted the speaker to pulse lights with the music. Anyways, the battery lasted pretty alright during my failed attempts on this infernal contraption.

    Good until the speaker exploded at 3 am

    So I have had this speaker for almost a year. Loved it at first as it had great sound quality for a small speaker. The colors were nice, but I had them off constantly to try and prolong the small battery life. I had no problems with it, until this morning when after charging it the day before, I randomly woke up at 3 am to the random popping and smoking of the speaker, which had been unplugged and turned off for at least 12 hours. Not the best way to wake up, for your room to smell like smoke and to have white smoke pouring out of a small external speaker.

    I bought this product for my own personal use. After about less than 20 uses.. the product quit working. I trashed it and took my loss. I hate it because it looks so good when lit up.
