In my opinion it has a good sound for its size, the lights are also something that attracts attention

It’s not too bad if u need a quick pool or beach speaker or for anything outdoors! It floats, waterproof & has a great cover for the charging port! Cool features as well!

Son in law loves the gift, great sound, small but loud if needed. So easy to pick up, no line took me maybe 5 whole minutes for entire pickup. So happy

We bought this little speaker for the express use of golf music and it has not disappointed. We'd looked at a few other pricier options, but decided to give this one a go. It performs perfectly for the task.
The size is perfect as it fits in the cup holder and the speaker is located on the top of it. So we can keep it secure while it plays without muffling the sound. The sound is more than loud enough and plenty clear for the golf course as well.
The bluetooth works paired easily and has pretty impressive range for the size of this thing. I've had my phone in my pocket playing music and only cut out when I really shanked a ball into the deep rough. Fairway and greens stayed connected no problem.
We didn't think we'd use the lighting option, but turns out it's kind of fun to use during night golf. Lighted balls and a lighted speaker add to the fun!
The battery life is more than sufficient for an entire round of golf (3+ hours with a group). Charging is via a micro-USB, which I found a bit off putting since everything else is going to USB-C. However, it charges quickly enough and comes with a charging cable (plus we have many older cables as backups).
We've never submerged it, but it did rain on us a few times and we had no issues with it.
We've only had the speaker for a couple months now so I can't attest to its longevity, but so far no issues at all.
If you're looking for a good speaker with solid connectivity, portability, good battery life, and good sound then I'd suggest going with this little champ. It won't have the range or music quality of those high end portable speakers, but for casual listening it's a winner.

I knew going in that iHome is the substandard branch of consumer electronics, barely passing Vivitar by a pinch. At least this featured brand is known to have products last longER than the other infamous one. I'm not even sure Viv is even capable of implementing LEDs into their hardware!
So about this speaker ~ it's... enough. If for whatever reason I was in the company of someone who wanted to broadcast something and not rely on the tinny 2-watt speakers on a mobile device, I'll pull this out and synch it. Maybe even for an MP3 player with Bluetooth option but no onboard speaker. Yes, those exist. Both my mother and I had a few and her new one does. Annnyway...
Quality? It does get loud. Those who claim otherwise probably received a faulty one OR they need to get the viscous vegemite out of their ear canals. The problem is how picky this thing is on the highs. It favors women vocals for obvious reasons unless the men sing falsetto. Mids? Uh.... sort of there. Bass? Hahaha... ha. That's a good one. The lows sound exactly like beating a padded seat cushion with drumsticks.
I've tested random songs by various artist from different genres and of course some faired better than others. Phil Collins was a no-go. Sheryl Crow was mostly fine. Van Halen didn't stand a chance. Disturbed? Nope. Stand-up specials from George Carlin (rest in peace, my man!) were good because obviously there's no instrumentation.
If it's so sub-par then why buy it? There was a $25 balance on my account expiring that day so for another $5 it would've been mine. Because of that it's not much of a loss to me. iHome can be commended for making this thing look and feel modern though. It's rugged and button presses are soft and responsive. The LED portion is backed behind polymer which is expected to last a lifetime. Claimed battery life is impressive. The SOUND portion is just disappointing. It's better than nothing.
For another $20 it would've been possible to get the (EXV24) stereo variation. There's no sense in listening to anything in mono in modern times. Singular audio channel devices are relics of the past. Frequencies are lost and makes for a disturbing (lack of) spatial placement in a room while listening to media through said device. It works with fast food drive-thru lanes but that's all. For another buck I'd have soldered in another inexpensive 2 watt tweeter.
Consensus: C+ ; not bad, but we know you can do better.

Little quiet for my needs but the sound is still nice over all for what it is. Don't go into this expecting really loud or good bass, but still a decent use if you need a portable speaker for something.

Good sound quality. Bought it primarily because it’s waterproof and compact. It’s been used to listen to music in the shower and I took it to the pool and so far we it’s holding up great!

Excellent sound quality and good volume for a small speaker. Fits nicely into the car's cup holder for GPS use. Once, I've used it for 8 hours without a re-charge. House brand with a very good price. Highly satisfied. Highly recommended.

Was wanting a small bluetooth speaker again. Something small for the bathroom because I'm always listening to music. This is the perfect size for a shelf. Looks nice and sounds good.

Bought this little speaker in a whim for a girls trip when I only went in to buy AirPods. For this speaker being as small as it is, the sound is pretty amazing! It was great to have this to listen to music while we got ready to go out and it was great to take down to the beach with us too.

The speaker is great for having indoors not very loud. Turn the volume all the way up on the phone and it’s still pretty much nothing but I mean just to be listening to something indoors. It’s great if you are looking for something that’s calm

Great portable speaker! I needed a small Bluetooth speaker and this is perfect for my needs. Amplifies sound just the right amount, and it’s easy to use. Changes colors, which isn’t something I needed, but it’s actually quite relaxing without being distracting.

I bought this as a white elephant gift and i ended up with it at the end of the night. I ise it in the garage while working on the car. It has a solid sound and the batery life is good. I would recommend for small places.
