iKlear is a Must-Have for Mac Owners

This product is the only thing other than plain water that Apple recommends for their LCDs and displays. I bought this in an abundance of caution because the cleaner I currently use, while good, contains alcohol and the MacBook I have has an anti-glare screen so I didn't want to use an alcohol based cleaner and potentially damage it.
I am happy this product was on sale, otherwise it is a bit pricey for what you get (spray-on cleaner but no microfiber cloth). I also found that this iKlear cleaner/polish is safe on the aluminum unibody Macbook, although it will not remove the "shadow" of a previously applied decal. (I'm still working on finding a safe way to remove that.)
I did note that when using this screen cleaner it left my hands feeling transiently itchy. I applied it to a corner of the microfiber cloth I was using but as I change segments of the cloth while applying the wet side and then the dry side (which is iKlear's two-step process) that my skin began to itch when it came into contact with the damp portion of the cloth. This happened to me with a similar LCD "safe" product I once bought to clean my first flat-screen TV and I stopped using the product and switched to Zeiss lens cleaners, which are alcohol based (another excellent product). With iKlear I am stuck with the same problem — something in it is irritating to the skin. Fortunately, the itchy sensation did not progress to a rash — but I also rinsed off my hands to halt the reaction — but still for those with sensitive skin do be aware that there IS something in this product that can cause skin irritation more so than your typical ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners.
Overall, I recommend iKlear because it did do a good job cleaning my MacBook anti-glare screen. There were no streaks and it lifted fingerprints and dust effectively.
iKlear is particularly a smart purchase for those who wish to be on the safe side with Apple for products that are still under warranty. However, even for those who own Macs, as I do, that are well out of warranty there may be another reason to stick with Apple-recommended cleaners: Retina MacBooks, for example, have an anti-glare coating on the screen, which has been known to flake and wear off in a patchy mess. In situations where Apple might claim that a owner's use of a non-approved cleaner caused the damage, it would be an SOL situation. So it's iKlear or plain water for cleaning Apple displays of any kind.
