My wife and I are still radio listeners (Ticket P1's) and we needed to replace the radio in our master bath. I needed something with a full remote, AM/FM radio, and good sound. The bluetooth connection was a bonus for us. I found the radio fairly easy to set up and use. The reasons why I don't give it a 5* review are as follows: My biggest gripe is that the remote is difficult to read. I know my eyesight is going but wow, even with my glasses on and in a bright room I have a hard time reading the buttons. We have the radio on a shelf above our normal eye line (thus the reason for the need of a remote) this makes the clock and display practically unreadable. I assume that if it were at eye level or below it might be better. The last thing is that there is a preset volume level for when the unit is turned on. It doesn't matter what level it was when it was turned off, when you turn it back on it will return to that setting. This is not good when you are turning the radio on early in the morning or late at night when others are asleep as it is quite loud. The sound quality and ability to stay on the station we desire is very good. I'm happy with my purchase.

I purchased this and wanted a small footprint to replace a radio that has failed. The small footprint was important to me and I chose it for that reason over a higher quality radio that had a large footprint. It does what is says but the sound quality when listening to radio has static and hiss frequently. Listening to Bluetooth is fine. It doesn't remember your volume setting and always turns on at a high level of volume. It was an inexpensive radio so I got what I paid for.

Nice size, easy to use. The default volume is pretty high but is easy to turn down. Unfortunately when you turn it down you get a lot of static that doesn't necessarily seem to be tied to the radio station it is on since at the high volume it is clear. I don't hate it. I don't love it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Works well as expected. Does just what I had hoped.

I just wanted a small player to play my tunes while I do the housework. Nice unit that hangs on the wall and is out of the way and easy to access. I noted that the remote is not very strong as I have to be about 8 feet to get it to work. The speakers are a little on the treble side without much bass but I expected that with the small size. I just pair my alternate speakers and I have beautiful sound from my bluetooth speakers.

I was replacing a low volume reception area stereo that was getting wonky changing channels randomly when you pressed volume. This iLive unit was small enough and at the right price. The speakers are removable by sliding them up. After 5 minutes, I slid them up and tossed them! The speakers use a plug system so I snipped them off and spliced them to the "old" speakers' bare wires and everything sounds listenable again. I gave it a 3 because the head works just fine, -2 for the speakers that I threw away.

My daughter wanted a cd player that hangs on the wall. I first ordered a no-name one off Amazon and it broke after 3 days. I returned that and bought this from Best Buy. It is exactly what we expected and even a little better. Sound is good for the size, it looks great on the wall and the bluetooth works perfect. You will not get premium sound system sound, but you'll also not get a tinny transistor radio sound. It sounds good and gets plenty loud. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable CD player for the wall.

It's a very nice radio and the sound it great. When you first turn it on you have to lower the volume, but that's no big deal

This is a nice compact stereo that fit nicely on my fireplace mantle. We live quite a ways out in the country and I was unable to pick up any stations with it but I really don't listen to the radio. I mostly wanted this for the cd player which works really well. It was a bit difficult at first to figure out how the controls worked but after going over the manual, I finally was able to understand how to work it.

love the sleep timing feature. memory save for 20 AM and 20 FM stations. easy to use remote. hate the volume setting when turning on the radio; no matter what setting you use, when you restart it goes back radio setting which is really loud

love the unit except when I turn it on the volume is very high and not where I left it. If it wasn't for this I would give it a 5. Don't us it as much as I would because of this.

I’m so happy happy I purchase this stereo I can hear all my CD’S it also works as a FM radio, Bluetooth has a lot of features . And it’s Slick all together it’s has a nice sound just what I was looking for and more! Also it’s a nice piece of furniture, I love it !

I brought the audio system to play CD's and before I can use the CD player it was broke and will not play my CD's. The radio plays good.

I got this for my office at work because I loved the idea of being able to hang it up instead of taking up desk space. As long as the volume is above 11, it's fine but anything lower than that and you get A LOT of static. In an office setting I can't always have it up that loud so I don't get the clear, crisp sound I was hoping for. I've tried moving it around to different spots but I get the same results everywhere.

If it decides to work it always begins at volume 19 no matter what the setting was before waking up others It is holding my Bill Frisell CD hostage, it won't release it or play it The radio reception is poor maybe I just got a lemon as other reviews were positive

I was looking for a new system for at work, so I didn't need anything special. Was happy with the ability to play cd's and FM radio with programable channels. What I was happy with though didn't matter as the sound was terrible. Static through the radio and even during cd playing. This was a gift so now I need to either fight to get credit from BestBuy and hope I can find a suitable replacement or just throw it in the trash.

I bought the radio for my dad, and it’s a bit complicated for him. I like the fact that the speakers can be removed and that there are many features on the radio such as setting it to turn off after a set time, but the remote is too small, making it impossible to read the buttons. Fortunately the user guide is good and includes a large diagram of the remote. Overall my dad likes the radio.

Unit looked good decent quality. I read the reviews before purchasing. I had to return it once I read the instructions. It will stream but not directly from WIFI - it will stream from a bluetooth device. My dad listens to AM station and I am looking to stream AM radio from WIFI.
