Do not buy for the M1 Pro or M1 Max Macbook Pro 16

Although the length of the MacBook can fit just fine in here, there's just so little room inside to really close it up without risking damaging the aluminum finish of the computer. The top part of my MacBook would stick out no matter how much I tried to push it in. Save yourself some money and just get a 17" inch sleeve or case like I did after returning this to Best Buy. If you have the older MacBook Pro 16s, I guess maybe this sleeve might still be worth a look.

Tough fit
