Mind boggling, brain twisting story! A great film from Christopher Nolan! One of my favorite film! The copy that they sent me looks so far ok thought again no slip cover. The picture quality is decent with a lot of grains. If you're not a grain lover, you're not gonna like this. Sound wise, it's also decent as it has no dolby atmos. I don't know why Nolan films does not utilize the atmos sound. It would have been great if he does adapt to the new dolby system. I wish for a better remastered version of this film with the brand new transfer, less grain and with full dolby atmos sound!

I've always quite fancied the artwork they use for the cover of this steelbook, so it was a must buy. It's not a perfect master (no Nolan 4K is with his penchant for scanning IP's instead of original negatives as he wants to replicate his theatrical look as closely as possible) but it does look VERY good and certainly like it did in theaters. Those zero g hotel hallway scenes are still bangers, and I still don’t know how this didn’t get nominated for best film editing. I do wish Nolan would embrace Dolby Atmos immersive audio, but this sounds as good as you'd expect from a lossless 5.1 mix of a academy award winning sound work.

This movie is in my top ten favorite movie list. Why? First the film's cast which includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Joseph Gordob-Levitt. Gave great performance and have good chemistry together. What truly made this film great ,IMO, are the CGI, Music, and the ending. The CGI and sets look visually stunning. To building design to the state of Limbo. All help to envision the world Nolan try to build. The score by Hans Zimmer is superb. When a chase is happening the music that acompany with it has your heart racing. Or when a emotional scene is playing, the music makes your heart heavy. Finally a ending that divided people. Whether it was a dream or not, it had us talking about the film long after it finished. Making us want to take a second viewing. (Possibly more)

Inception represents the ultimate dream child of Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer. There are many aspects of this movie that make it one of my favorites - warranting an upgrade from the standard Blu-Ray to the 4K Blu-Ray. While the 4K visual experience is outstanding, the soundtrack by Zimmer draws me back in over and over. I often play the incredible 5.1 soundtrack mix found on the supplemental Blu-Ray disc as it gives an amazing auditory experience. The basic underlying story of Inception is often overlooked due to its other multifaceted aspects. The idea that the main character needs to change their mind and become their own person is a universal message applicable to a wide audience. May we all make such a decision without necessitating a brain hack!

look, half of the people i know hated it, others did like it i loved it! yeah the movie starts breaking some of its rules here and there and some of the stuff that its going down doesnt make sense, but man some people tried to take this movie way too serious when its not supposed to be. its about a movie about dreams where everyone can control a portion of something inside someone else dream! how much of that is real in real life? they need to take stuff less serious and enjoy things more

This is definitely one of my favorite Christopher Nolan movies. If you haven’t seen it yet keep in mind it’s one movie you have to consistently pay attention to it in order to understand what is going on. If you walk away for 5 mins you could miss a lot. So if you are looking for a movie that’s easily digestible, probably won’t be your cup of tea. If you are looking for amazing acting, interesting plot, great directing and filming, give it a shot.

I saw this at the theater and remember how intrigued I was with the whole story line, and it even throwing me a curveball at the end trying to decide whether the whole thing was real or a dream in the first place. Anyway, one of Nolan's best in my opinion. The 4K disc is supposed to be a true 4K transfer. I didn't notice hardly any grain at all on my OLED, since the original was filmed in 35mm and 70mm. Not much going on with the HDR enhancements. Wish it had Atmos but it doesn't; it has DTS 5.1. The sound overall is still good and loud with the Hans Zimmer score, just wish there were overhead enhancements.
