Incipio's DualPro series of cases have two layers like you might expect, but the exterior layer is actually pretty soft. It makes for a case that feels comfortable in the hand, but won't slip out under you if you have a reasonable grip on it. So far the case has protected the phone just as good as an OtterBox case I had for a previous phone. However, Pop Sockets users beware... THEY WILL NOT WORK ON THIS CASE. This isn't a problem for me, but because of the softer outer layer, the suction does not stick with this case.

Review may be pointless as the Z4 is the current phone and the Z3 case will so be not available at Best buy (already hard to find locally). Overall the case is really good and worth the $20 to protect your Z3 or Z3 Play and very little bulk to phone. The Z3 as you know is a slippery phone with it's glass back and this case helps, but maybe not how you'd think. The case itself is less slippery than the phone, but is still slick (has no texture to case). How it does help is via the finger print scanner notch, it provides a comfortable area to hook a finger on when carrying phone (just don't scan that finger). Power and volume buttons are harder to use with case on. If they don't soften up and become easier I'm thinking about cutting out the soft case to match the opening of the hard outter case for better access. Likely only the power button needs the mod as volume buttons I use less often.

This Incipio case fits my Droid Z3 perfectly. It's got a good feel and doesn't make the phone super bulky like some cases can.

The case fits the Z3 Play perfectly and creates a slight inset for the camera lens, which helps prevent it from getting dirty or scratched. It is a double case and has provided good protection the few times I dropped the phone. The material feels good to the touch and is comfortable in my hand. It repels stains and is easy to keep clean.

Like the 2 piece design. Soft cushion wrap with a firm surround plate. I feel like my phone is safe. It states it has been tested with a 10 foot drop. I hope i never have to find out. great price too.

Phone case fits great and feels very smooth and soft. Lightweight too.

Very easy to set up and use. Has a great camera that takes sharp pictures. Larger phone than my last (Moto zforce) but easy to get use to.

The look and feel of this case really compliments the phone. it fits in very well and all buttons are accessible.

Bulky to me but I'm a minimalist. Protection is great though.

Comes on and off easily which is great for the Moto mods. The back is super slick though so it won't be my permanent case, just good to have in the meantime.

Case works pretty great for being on the cheaper side. I dropped my phone a couple of times since having it and my phone has.not cracked and there is actually no scratches on the case so it's built pretty well would definitely recommend this brand.

I bought this to use on the phone, but the phone comes with an extra backpack battery which I almost always leave on the phone which renders having this case useless. If you buy the phone and plan on using extra included battery, do not get this case.

I thought I might want something colorful and exciting to cover my phone, but I went with something durable, reliable and classy- this one. I'm glad I did! It's not showing any signs of wear even though it's been a few months. It's sleek and smooth and a great purchase without being costly.

This is a very good cover for this phone. Being this is a mod phone it would be nice if it came off easier and if it would fit over the extra battery but it is a good cover when I us it.

This was the only case in black I could find. The power button has to be held hard to use since the case is over it, I've only had it for 4 months and it's already piling

I like this case. It is sleek yet protects my phone nicely. It has two layers to protect the phone. I've got lit of complements on it! I wished it came in different colors.

The case is two pieces, outer is smooth and durable. Only drawback the case makes it a little hard to press the volume button.

The case is 2 pieces and and clipped right on my phone. I have dropped my phone a couple of times and no worries it did the job of protection.
