Everyone, I’m sure by now, has seen these movies. This is not a movie review. This set comes with 5 discs, the fifth being an ‘Extras’ disc with 7 hours of content. This book style with cardboard sleeve ‘pages’ for each disc made storage space much smaller. Be carful that the discs don’t slip out of their sleeves. The sleeves are detented some way to prevent that from happening, but a couple of times I still had one slip half-way out. The container box is made of cardboard. I previously had the first 3 on laserdisc and on DVD but since I now have a BluRay player and never had the 4th movie, I went for it. No regrets . . .

There was a Featurette after the second movie on LasertDisc that bever made it to DVD or this Blu-Ray collection. cab't figure out why it is lost to the people putting this together. I also have a Coca-Cola AD with the 1st film scene in it from a VHS and it would be nice to see that again!!!

I originally watched raiders in the movie theater when it first came out and I wanted to share the experience with my kids. We made it a movie night and have been watching one every weekend. We are having a blast. We are so glad that Best Buy had the films available As a box set.

The Indiana Jones blu-ray collection is more amazing than what I could have imagined. The picture, the sound, and the overall quality make this an adventure worth reliving over and over again! Grab your bullwhip, kick up your feet, and settle in for an adventure of a lifetime!

There are four movies here, plus an extra disc holding informative tidbits. The tidbits (some entertaining in themselves) are for serious enthusiasts, so I will stick to just commenting about the four films for the rest of us. However, as an aside I have to comment about the packaging, which is not good at all. In principle, the sleeves that hold the discs should not cause problems, but the effort to remove each disk IS a problem. They snug into position too tightly, and over time this may create issues with edge damage. My solution was to obtain blank bluray boxes for each disk and install them into a home-built box. Problem solved. Trash the original container after cutting out and carefully removing the information pages. OK, the movies. These obviously can be ranked as to quality, and the worst is easily the Temple of Doom item. The best part is the "antidote and diamond" chaos at the beginning, with things going downhill from there. The brutality towards the children was demoralizing, and whoever was responsible for that segment series should be ashamed of themselves. Some critics decry Capshaw's performance, but I thought she did a fine job of portraying a blond bimbo. Note that if we are talking about actual date chronology with the films this would be the first in line. If I were just rating this movie it would only be awarded three stars However, the other movies are terrific and offset the damage. The best of those is the Last Crusade release, not only because of the cool plot but also (and perhaps primarily) because of the presence of Sean Connerly. Yep, he makes the movie. The Raiders of the Lost Ark film is almost as good, but it still has to come in at second place. The final, Crystal Skull film has been downrated by some critics, but I actually though it was quite good and no more absurd than any of the others. And of course it has a happy ending that actually has Indiana Jones in line to settle down and be a regular college professor and husband. All of the Indiana Jones movies are, at bottom, absurd, but it is a good absurd that those with open minds will embrace and enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoy the Indy film series and I purchased this set for the improved picture quality on Blu-ray. A lot of reviews were around the box set itself and extras. Having previously purchased the DVD box set, this upgrade is well worth the money for the improved picture.

I love the case for this bundle! Very detailed with pictures of the stories, it’s designed as a book with the movies inside the envelope pages. Great for a collector. But I don’t like that it’s very hard to slide the movies out from in between the carton envelope, I am afraid to scratch the movies every time I want to see them.

If you don't own these classics already, I recommend getting them now on Blu-Ray. The picture is beautiful, the sound is exciting, and acting is memorable (Indy 4 and the KOTCS not included in this review, that movie never happened except for Indy and Marion getting hitched). This is a must buy!

All of the episodes in the Indiana Jones original series are available in this collection. The acting is better in each DVD. George Lucas is in his prime as a director, and Harrison Ford is in his prime in this role.

Just a classic set of films that I wanted to add to my library. I know the 1st film was awesome and I believe the others were pretty good. Way better than National Treasure......Indiana Jones Wanna-be.

I already had these movies, but they were not blu-ray. But in Sept. I bought a 4K tv and a 4K dvd player, so even though the old dvd's looked ok, they look great in blu-ray. The Sony dvd player converts it to a great picture. Between blue ray and 4K in picture.

Finally, all the movies that made Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones a movie icon and great entertainment to boot! All four feature films preserved and presented in HI-DEF Bluray and many hours of extra features. A great presentation for young and old!

Favorite movies of mine, well the first three, and so nice to have them all on blu ray, for a great price. I wish the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles were included, and the packaging takes some getting used to.

These films are long revered in the world of cinema, even more so among the fans of the New Hollywood crew that was born in the late 60's, so I feel like I shouldn't really waste too much time picking these films apart. However, for those of you who have not seen any of the Indiana Jones films, I will give a brief overview of what to expect. Most of it can be summed up in a single word, and that is: ADVENTURE. These films are full of it. Taking inspiration from the pulp novels and comic books of the early to mid 1900s - mainly the latter half. Indie, or Indiana Jones, is a wonderful and charismatic character, a great deal due to the fantastic job done by Harrison role as the lead role. Joining his side is a great cast of characters through each film - including a new leading lady with each entry (much like the ladies of James Bond). My favorite being Short-Round from the second film. The only weak entry being the latest, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, simply because it takes a rather strange and unimaginative turn towards the end. A lot of Indie fans find this film to be an insult to the original trilogy, but I wouldn't go as far - I just think that the movie was a little too ambitious for what an Indiana Jones film represents and the fans knew that something wasn't right, only to be proven correct at the end. And it came at a time when Hollywood and its A-class filmmakers were at a crossroad of confusion towards what the fans want to see and what the filmmakers want to do. Kind of like the Star Wars Ep1-3 mess, only not as bad. It still has Spielberg written all over it and there are some really fun parts in the movie, so I wouldn't say it hurts the collection any. If anything, the original trilogy is so good, that 4th film is just a bonus that you will either like, or you wont. Younger audiences will find a great parallel between Indiana Jones and Nathan Drake from the video-game series Uncharted, as these two guys are practically the same character and the stories they move through are very similar as well. If it weren't for Indiana Jones, we wouldn't have characters like Nathan Drake. These films sit nicely next to the original Star Wars trilogy and the Back to the Future trilogy. Highly recommended for people of all ages!

Nice collection. The films hold up well in HD, bonus features disc was worth the upgrade from the DVD set, even with the inclusion of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. ;)
