...you will LOVE Infamous 2! Infamous 2 improves on Infamous 1 in almost every way. Simply put, Infamous 2 is fun. Fun! Why? -Satisfying combat --The new combat system is much improved from Infamous 1, essential giving you a huge arsenal of unique powers to choose from. You will unlock different bolts, blasts, grenades, rockets, and ionic attacks (think lightning storm). You can only equip one of each type of attack at a time, but can switch which is equipped on the fly. I should point out Good and Evil paths unlock different powers. --Combat is more difficult than Infamous 1 (I'm playing on hard), which is a heartily welcomed improvement. Enemies are tougher and your wounds don't heal as fast when you exit combat. Also unlike Infamous 1, you can challenge yourself by your selection of powers. I see myself going back and completed the game again with just weakest powers for an additional challenge. --Stealth can play a larger role because enemies don't notice you as easily, which is nice. --The amp! Melee combat is a blast thanks to it --Interaction with environment means lots of ways to take down enemies -The parkour platforming elements means traversing the city is never boring, and can be quite enjoyable -Many many side missions to complete -Many many blast shards to collect -Many many powers to unlock -Improved karma system from Infamous 1 -More random city events than Infamous 1 -User generated content. Although limited at the moment, seems to have much potential. Negatives: -The camera can be a bit wonky at times -Cole sometimes falls through objects unexpectedly while climbing -Side missions can become repetitive (but hey, there's 60 of them, what do you expect?) All in all, Infamous 2 is an awesome blend of FPS, action/RPG, and platformer. I highly recommend it as one of the best games for PS3. But play Infamous 1 first so you know the story!

Love the story line aND the banter back and forth. You won't get bored cause the power are cool

I loved the first Infamous, and I would hope that the second game would meet my expectations that the first game left me with. The second game went above and beyond my expectations in almost every category. The gameplay was great, the voice actors were fantastic, and the visuals were fantastic. The only slight negative was the change in voice actor for Cole. He was definitely just as good as the first, so that was not much of a problem, but it was an abrupt change, and occasionally, since I was used to the original voice actor, it threw me off a little bit. Other than that, it was a great game.

This is a great game to play, very fun and storyline is always interesting, great length perfect as a gift to a nephiew or son

If you liked the first Infamous, you will love Infamous 2. It improves on the original in many ways.

as good as the first new elements add for a more interesting storyline

This game was really good, the graphics are awesome for its generation{PS3}, lots of stuff to unlock and accomplish. Open world and the world is big and lots of missions to finish.

Overall I had a blast with this game. It's a very fun superhero storyline continuing from the first InFamous, with the option to be good or bad. It's a different take on the open world game formula by putting you as a superhero rather than a gun toting thug. Overall the gameplay and controls are responsive, the graphics are great (though not the best this generation), and the story works to the games advantage. My only complaint would be some minor performance issues (clipping at times, framerate slowdown when there are crazy effects on screen, etc). But don't let that hold you back from one of the better new franchises of this generation.

I've played the original inFamous game several times but only rented this second entry when it first came out. With the third entry coming out (and me without a PS4) I was having inFamous withdrawal and decided to buy inFamous 2 and play it through again. The game-play isn't revolutionary or anything, but it takes the open world concept and applies some really fun superhuman powers to play with that continue to grow throughout the game. The story isn't bad, but it doesn't have the same kind of punch as the first. A must-have for PS3 owners!

Infamous 2 is a great continuation of the first game. Cole's new powers are great upgrade. The game is fun and has plenty of replay value.

All in all a good game. Good story line. Nice graphics. Sound wasn't bad but didn't take as long as I would have liked to complete.

awesome follow up to infamous and infamous; festival of blood. again you have powers that are beyond description and can semi-free roam through a city completing various tasks that lead to the ultimate boss battle. as with the previous infamous games the graphics are almost lifelike and i still get a knot in my stomach when falling from really really high altitudes! p.s. your character will survive such falls but it looks and feels so real, it's amazing

This game is a fun exciting sequel to Infamous. Game play and story are fun. New villains are also a nice change of pace.

Its a good game, usually fast paced, some quests get tedious but really those are the ones that you can choose to do or not if you want go for game completion and maximizing your powers. If you don't care then no tedious. It's an alternate universe setting and that gives you the ability to save the world or help bring it to its knees. It's good action and graphics.

I was not a fan of the PS3, I got this game as a gift. After 2 months, I decided to open it and give it a shot. This was one of the best games that I have placed for PS, I put it up there with The God of War Series. Gameplay, graphics, storyline, a great game overall. Get this game, this should be in every real gamer's library,

This game is very entertaining and also challenging! My son can sit for hours playing this game. It's good game for my twelve year old and his friends and also challenging for my /seventeen your old and his friends. The price of the game was relatively j expensive as well. It also was a Christmas present.

My review of this particular was good due to the character and the story line of the game. I would recommend this game to other parents for their children ... I would inform them that this particular game would keep their kids attention n interests for hours.. It also is interesting and entertaining for adults as well.

I picked this up as a buy two for $25 deal. Super pumped to get this and another game I really wanted! I wanted this one to get familiar with the game style for when I purchase a PS4 and eventually get "Second Son".
