I'm an older gamer (44, closer to 45 than I care to admit,) but have a 3 year old, who due to two serious eye issues, may never get the chance to play sports because of the chance of injury. While I'm teaching him to love sports, to enjoy drawing, I'm hoping he'll also take my passion for gaming, to see the technical wonders I won't, and learn to get excited for them as I have. Disney's Infinity is a wonderful game, with an amazing experience that includes learning and building along with the gaming aspect. I chose this as our "toys to life" game to share right after he was born, believing that with Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars all backing it, it was a no-lose proposition. I was wrong with the announcement that the Infinity game and figures will cease after 2016, and I'm beyond disappointed. All 3 universes are timeless, and as a kid growing up with Star Wars & Marvel (I always hated Disney as a kid,) I had really hoped we would have this in common, these characters who have become modern-day myths. My disappointment in Disney's decision aside, the game will continue, minus new figures and DLC, and I know it will (or I hope) keep us busy for some time before he wants to move on from "toys to life"- too many, aside from Lego, are too current, beyond my generation, for me to become genuinely excited for with him. This black suit Spidey is yet another fantastic character in the Disney Infinity lineup. Before there was Venom, Spidey came home from Secret Wars with a brand new black suit, and I gobbled up the comics, finally thinking Spidey was cool and on par with my favorite, the X-Men. I cannot compare it to the regular Spidey they released years back, as that one is not part of our collection, but his powers align properly, and outside of suspected similar powers, I'd bet there's enough differences to still make it a worthwhile purchase. Example being that we have both Iron Man and Hulkbuster Iron Man, and while there's a few shared powers, they're different enough that I'm glad we own both. Even if we didn't own the game itself, these toy statues are wonderfully crafted- I was originally hesitant on the art style, but once it grew on me, I've fallen in love with it. We have an entire display case for them for friends & family to see, they're so perfect, striking a balance between whimsy for the younger players, and respect/ cool factor for the older ones. Best of all, they're so sturdy, with very little exception (only visibly "challenged" ones, like the thin arms/ legs of Mike from Monsters, Inc.) that my 3 year old plays with them as action figures and has only ever "damaged" the aforementioned Mike... And even then, it was only Mike pulling free of his base, where pegs entered holes in his feet... A quick drop of superglue fixed it up immediately, with no real damage done. If you own Infinity, it's a no-brainer to buy up what you can while its available. If you like Spidey, then you should already own it. Heck, just based on my found love of the art in these statues, they're worth it if you're just a fan of geek culture.

Until now, this figure was only available on the Disney Infinity 21.0 PS Vita starter pack. Even though it says Disney Infinity 3.0 It is compatible with 2.0. The figure let's you play as Black Suit Spider-Man without needing the Symbiote power Disc.

Kids love DI figures. Great quality and product. DI has done a great job incorporating new figures/figures featured in recent movies and shows. Great addition to family collection.

Spiderman is one of my favorite figures and with Disney Infinity 3.0 being my first Disney Infinity game I never had the play set from Disney infinity 2.0 and couldn't find it for a decent price so this is a great way to get spiderman if you missed out on the original in 2.0

This Disney 3.0 character works on 2.0 games. Has extra powers than the 2.0 character and used to unlock challenges in the Battlegrounds set.

If you did not get a chance to get your hands on Spidey the first time around heres your chance to get him. Same moves as the original Spiderman only now in the back suit. A great addition to the Disney Infinity Marvel collection!

Infinity collectors will want to get this, as Spidey is available as two separate characters (classic suit, black Symbiote suit) in Marvel Battlegrounds, not to mention that this figure is stamped as a 3.0 figure (the Vita version is a 2.0 character). Other than the above detail, the two play the same, and can be used the same. If you have Classic Spidey with his Black Symbiote Suit Power Disc, you also get the same effect - but the figure just looks so cool sitting on the power base!

I only buy these as a collector, they are very well made and look amazing. The price is great for the detail in these.

Cool looking costume for Spider-Man. Fun to use in the Marvel Battlegrounds.

I enjoy playing it as well, but we primarily buy the characters for him. He truly enjoys having different ones to use in different situations, and you'd best believe that he knows which ones have the appropriate powers for those situations. Each character adds to the stories that he can play, and the different playsets truly create a substantial amount of content to be played.

This Character is awesome. Really helps in game and in battlegrounds.

My favorite Superhero with the high regarded symbiotic suit. Good to see the Civil War movie brought to life in Disney Infinity with added levels and added characters for use. A great game for kids and adults, but very disappointed that all of the Disney Infinity stuff has been discontinued. Get it while you can.

This really is just a repaint and color change of the original Spidey from Infinity 2.0 Can't complain though... Spidey is my favorite Marvel character and the more Spidey variants the better. Just wished they had continued the Infinity LIne cause Spider-Gwen was in the works... until Disney pulled the plug. :(

I have quite a few Disney Infinity figures collected, but they're mainly for display as I don't get to play the game too much and Disney's discontinued the series. The detail and style of these figures are great. I love the cartoony look that's still serious and they've got some weight to them.
