Saw this shredder in the clearance section for $50 and took a chance on it and it was a great buy. Been using the shredder almost everyday since i bought it a month ago.

So far I have no major issues. Some time paper gets stuck!

I bought this product for my son. He really loves it!

I liked the microcut but only cutting the credit card in half seemed silly. Very quiet operation. Shredder was a good size but on wheels that didn't seem to work too well. Too bad the shredder jammed during the first session of use and couldn't be reversed or unjammed. Returned the item to the store; will try once more. If it jams again, will try a different kind of shredder.

My last shredder was loud, but I couldn't justify buying another one because it wasn't broken. Well thankfully it finally stopped working and I got this shredder. I had to wait to get it because it was on order, but I waited because I read a review that said it was a quiet shredder. I also read a review that said there was a scratch on the top panel. Well it came and thankfully it is worlds quieter than my last shredder. It shreds into small pieces which I like and yes there were scratches on the top panel, but it under my desk so I don't really notice them, I just love how quiet it is. But wait, recently I read another review that said the scratches buff out. I tried it and they did, bonus!

Great Item, would recommend for anyone from home to work. Much smaller than my last and love that I can just tuck it right under my desk. I don't like the way it does with CD's and Credit Cards. I had to run the Credit Card 2 times before I was satisfied but other than that Love the product.

There is not much to say, it is just a shredder. It does cut paper to micro shreds, it never jammed. I never put in more than 10 sheets, which is the maximum it can handle. Now I have full peace of mind shredding old tax returns and such and leave the bag on the curb.

Wanted a good shredder under $150.00 so I checked out the "office" stores in person/on-line and then on-line at Best Buy. This unit fit my needs and budget, so I drove 7 minutes to pick it up. CAREFULLY peeling off the plastic left no scratches! Plugged it in and it's everything promised! AND SOOOOOO Quiet!!! I'll remember what others said about credit cards, but the micro-cut for paper is the best!! I'm a happy camper so far. Took the extended warranty for 20 bucks - just in case, but so far so good!

Works well and extremely quiet compared to my old Staples cross cut shredder, micro cut gives greater security due to size of shredded paper, power save function is nice there is about a 2 second delay when paper is first inserted for the unit to start, then nothing but smooth shredding, have not tried the credit card portion but it shreds CD's very well, would buy again without hesitation, great deal compared to the overpriced fellowes shredders

When I pulled off the top plastic protector, it left a few marks, which look like scratches. These aren't scratches though, and can be buffed out easily... It took me by surprise though. I would rate 5 if weren't for that. Excellent shredder. Haven't had it long enough to judge reliability, but it seems well made, blades are heavy and cabinet is sturdy.

Bought this to replace an old crosscut that was towards the end of it's days. Nothing but positive experiences so far. Very quick, quiet, and the micro-cut adds even more piece of mind with identity fraud. I use it about two to three times a week, no issues to report.

I have no clue why the other guy gave it 2 stars and took it back all for it having scratched on the top. Mine looks and works perfect. So much nicer than my old shredder. Very large and pretty darn quiet!

I have purchased a few shredders over the years. I have unfortunately been lured by low prices and big promises. But then when I get them home, they don't deliver. The Init 10-sheet Microcut shredder did not disappoint. It works well for paper. Although the products says it handles 10 sheets, I find that 4-5 pages (for bills) goes through much better. After all, bills are usually on heavier stock paper. But I was actually expecting this, so I don't mind. The small slot is for shredding credit cards. But this only cuts them in half. I didn't think that was sufficient, so I ran the pieces through a couple of times. This is not impressive. My primary use is for shredding bills and bank statements (after scanning). But if you want to shred credit cards, try something else (like put them in the over on aluminum foil). It also fits nicely under my desk.

Like so many other people, I am concerned about identity theft. This device shreds paper into small pieces reducing confidential documents like credit card reciepts or bank statements, to confetti. This lets you eliminate documents with no worries about someone rooting through your garbage and getting confidential information. It'll destroy CDs and DVDs as well, but I am not satisfied with how it shreds cards, but that's my only complaint. I use a pair of scissors for that. The investment in this shredder is an investment in peace of mind. Highly recommended for home and office.

Got the cheaper model (nit™ 12-sheet Diamond-Cut Paper Shredder - Black) at first which DOES NOT work at all. This model does a nice job, can handle at least 10 sheets, credit card offers, etc and it cuts into little squares. Has "Green" on/off so it takes a second or 2 to start but once you get use to that it's ok. Wish it was $20 bucks cheaper.

This shredder rocks I sat and shredded six-month of bills and credit card receipts and this machine did not blink very happy with this purchase .good design well-made

Great product. Does 10 sheets with ease. the only thing is that sometimes it is hard to incert the sheets. instructions tell you how to care for product.

Works great, Shreads the heck out of things. Would recomend.

The quality and price were excellent. The shredder is easy to set up and the security gained from the small size of the shredding makes it well worth buying.

Designed to look nice, well packed, high gloss mirror back top had a sticky plastic sheet on it, but underneath were lots of scratches. Yeah it's a shredder, not a flat panel TV, but for $120 I expect better, and not someone to hide their mistakes. I don't know how it works, I repacked it and heading back to Best Buy.
