    I got this to put my grandson's 3DS games on works Great. I got him two and we mounted them side by side in a Plus sign configuration, The mounting holes line up 16 inches apart which is the standard stud spacing in most walls. he put all his games on them and has added all his Infinty game figures too. He loves it so I Have ordered two More for future Needs. They are open in the back so if you use free standing have to be careful not to push cd's , games etc thru the back. They come in two section that slide together to form the cross. they are about 1/4 thick so they are very sturdy and don't sag by weight. Great deal for the 5.99 price get plenty while they last.

    After deciding to downsize to a smaller cd storage unit, I found this at my local Best Buy and bought it. When I got it home, I realized one piece is larger than the other as it's nested together inside the box. This would be ok if I wanted to display or mount it in a cross shape, but I wanted to mount it to the wall in an X shape, and because the two pieces that fit together are not the same size, it's assymetrical and that bothers me. The picture on the box, and even the drawings in the assembly manual are designed to obscure the fact that the two parts are not the same. I for the life of me can't figure out why anyone would design it that way, other than to save packaging costs by nesting one inside the other. Really? That was so important they designed something that looks off? It really looks goofy, with one side being even at the top and bottom and the other with one end sticking out two inches furthur than the other. Someone must have been downing tequila shots when they designed this, so back it goes.
