Bottom line: if you’re a DC fan, buy this game. Pros: Great story, solid fighting mechanics, lots of customization and expansion. Cons: steep learning curve, microtransaction model not for everyone Review: Injustice 2 is one of the best DC games to come out in a long time. There’s a fantastic storyline and a big and expanding roster of characters. The fight mechanics are solid, although fans of other series may have some adjustment period. Still, the game is a lot of fun, and I would recommend it to DC and fighting game fans alike.

Awesome story and continues on from the first game and comics, really fun multiplayer. If you like superheros and fighting games get this one !

The game has hours of content even for a single player. The Story is engrossing and the cinematic scenes well done. Multiplayer now has guilds where you can help your guilds get goals done and get rewarded for it. The DLC is a la carte to where you can buy what characters you want and ones you don't. Over all, a better buy over the other comic fighting game.

I love this game! It is awesome to play with friends and also fun to play the story mode if you are playing on your own!

And Injustice 2 is leagues better! Graphics are EXCELLENT and the stories are great...so much fun! Highly recommend!!!

if you played the first injustice you should enjoy this one. more things to do but still will feel familiar.

So being a huge fan of DC comics and their characters picking up this game was a no brainer for me. Those familiar with the Mortal Kombat franchise will find themselves right at home with what Injustice 2 brings to the table. Being that this is a sequel to what has already been a well received original I went in guns blazing. I love all the new characters they added and bringing back the original DC universe characters only to have them fight each other is just FUN. Serious fun. My only wish is DC would give full control of this property to the guys making this game and the possibilities would be endless of adding in the Mortal Kombat characters and the FINISH HIM moves.

The graphics in the cinematics are some of the best I have ever seen in any video game, the characters are so life like it almost gives me chills but also adds so much to overall experience of the game. The Story mode is extremely entertaining and very hard to stop playing. The fighting alone is probably some of the best out of all the fighting games in the past decade and the most creative, it somehow uses a very traditional and typical fighting game style but adds some tweaks exclusive to this game that make it fun. The customization portion of the game i thought would be a waste of time but it is highly addicting and very well done. I find myself playing the multiverse mode (a mode in the game that lets you travel dimensions and alternate timelines to beat different hereos and villans which is constantly changing with new challenges as updated by the developers) to earn money to buy more things for my characters or unlock wear gear. Overall i highly recommend this game as it is the most full and fun fighting game I have ever played.

From a nearly-as-good-as-MKX cinematic story mode to the addition of RPG-elements and gear to silly novelty modes like AI Battle Simulator, I am quite impressed with how much content is on tap. A solid roster coupled with more accessible fighting than MKX coupled with even better graphics (and some of the most impressive facial animation to-date), and I can't help but consider this the new bar for fighting game standards. I set that bar at MKX, but they took it up a notch. Grinding the multiverse to deck out my favorite fighter (or even to build up the roster for AI Battle Simulator) can not only suck up hours of time, but also cause you to become more intimately familiar with how to use your main and the game's finer mechanics than you might normally be interested in. You might just get competitively good simply because you keep on playing!

I'm not a huge fighting game fan. That said, this looked like a lot of fun and the characters are recognizable to me (unlike some of the other fighters out there). The game is fun which is all that really matters. Maybe I should have gone with a 4 but given that a non-fighting fan person finds it to be fun, I personally thought it deserved a 5.
