this is one of the scariest movies that i have ever seen and the ending its how a scarie movie should be. hard to descirbe everything but the child gets lost in some dimmension that he cant excape because he cant find his way out. must watch horror film

I hope they make a 2nd this movie is creeeepppyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it is very scary my thought is that paranormal activity 1+2 is not as SCARY as this so watch THIS GET IT :)!!! It's AWESOME!!!

This is the way horror movies should be. No ridiculous gore and slasher junk just good psychological suspense. Defianately a must see.

I normally really do not enjoy the horror genre. Mainly because it is the same old thing over and over again. I blind bought Insidious and was not disappointed. Some of the creepiest images I have seen in a horror movie in a long time and definitely lost some sleep the night I watched this. Recommended to all

Today's horror movies do more gore than scare you. I miss the good scare movies! This one has some of the old scare to it but just wish they would do more of the "make you jump or gasp" stuff. Still a good one though can't wait to watch the second one.

The movie itself is great which is pretty much what the review is for so definitely if you want something scary to watch buy this movie! Just a little disappointed to spend $20 and it doesn't even come with a digital copy of the film. Other than that though great movie!

I love this movie and each time I see it it gets better. I understand some gripes people have with it, but that does not take away from the great quality movie. I's like more bonus features but oh well

One of the last few movies to realy scare me. Definently not for the faint of heart. Great scares without needing all the gore. Half the fun is also noticing all the things in the background.

If you are looking to start a journey of mystery and horror, Insidious is a great place to start. Very impressive acting with a storyline that has you begging for more.

I love my scary movies and I must say, this is one that scared me quite a bit. Lots of jump out and spook you scenes. I would recommend watching it with little to no lights and zero interuptions.

Insidious is unique amoung modern horror movies in that it's actually good! It takes the usual haunted house premise and turns it on its head.

The final half of the movie does not live up to the first half but this is still a much better than usual horror movie.

Overall good with a good plot but predictable events. Still kept me on the edge of my seat, enjoyed Swank's performance.
