This clunker was 20% off, so I paid $79.99-and that's about what it's worth. The thing is maddeningly sloooow! I just don't use a tablet enough to blow $800+ and make Steve Jobs' heirs any richer than they already are. I'll give it to my little niece when she's a bit older and get an Amazon Fire, it's cheap and decent.

So my sister has a competitors but for the price and size its a wonderful deal! so far its larger and very fast, plus easy to operate with the android operating system! great size for reading ebooks as well.

Tablet is not an iPad. However, it does function but is not very fast. Touchpad responds slow and download speed is average. Bought because I needed a cheap Android tablet. For $69 it's okay. For $99 it's not.

I purchased this to use for a weekly presentation. I create a Word doc with my presentation outline on my laptop and open it via email in the tablet. It works OK for this purpose. I chose this because of the cost and dimensions-I wanted something a close to the size of a sheet of paper. Basic web browsing is a little slow.

This tablet was a gift for my 10-year old niece. She needs it for school. According to its size & technical features, it should be good enough for her ebooks and studying stuff.The tablet is easy to use.

I looked at many tablets before getting this one. For the price & the amount of storage space, this one is the very best deal going right now. I would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a lot of space & a small amount of cash output. GREAT BUY!

good product for decent price, expandable memory would be nice but at a bargain price it is what you would expect. bought online , picked up in store, great way to shop. my wife uses it also and she has no complaints. its a bare bones model and functional

Bought this for a grandkid and works great for them. It is a great picture and is tough for there minor oops. This best part is you are not out alot of money if they break it beyond repair and still has the ump to get them all of the needs that they may have.

It takes 5 to 10 minutes to come on. I'm very disappointed in that. I haven't had much time to use it. It has a good picture. I only had it for a few weeks so you don't how well it will hold up.I had a tablet before and it last for only 3 months. Waste of money.

I bought this for my 7yr old. He was able to successfully navigate to all of his favorite apps on Google play. He listens to music which has an awesome sound. The tablet is lightweight and has a bright,clear, and sharp picture. Great buy at bestbuy!!

If you need a tablet with a fancy name and a fancier pricetag, go ahead and spend your money. I like to be frugal so I bought this basic model which works just as well for a lot less greenbacks. I'm pleased with it and my bank account even more so.

This tablet is an excellent value. It's light, the screen is bright and readable, and the keyboard is nice. It is not, however, a Microsoft Surface, and shouldn't be compared to one. It's an inexpensive 2 in 1 that's great for viewing photos, web pages, email, Facebook, and light gaming. Unlike an iPad, this is a full computer and runs a full version of Windows 10, so there are no limitations on what you can do with it, short of graphics intensive games and applications. Though it comes with only 32 GB of storage, it does have a microSD slot and Microsoft offers 5GB of cloud storage free, so the limited onboard storage is not a major issue. Overall, this 2 in 1 is a good value for the money.

I bought this item as a gift for my child and so far we are learning all the basics The tablet performs well playing cartoons and other apps which was the main purpose of the purchase. We are satisfied with the size of the screen and the price point. Not a high end unit. Not a pricy one. Just a good basic tablet.

I bought two of these tablets for gifting and kids love them. They are well speced and very responsive. Instead of buying samsungs and Ipads and spending upwards of $350 for few years, I bought these which even if they last a year or two is good enough.

I had the older model of this tablet (white) which had an HDMI output. I was so pleased with it, that I decided to buy this one for my wife. Comparing the two, the quality is not quite as good, although it is still a great value if you only use it for email, composing letters, occasional games, etc. The problem I found (BTW, had to take one back because it died after two days) is that the graphics card on this one leaves choppy video on games that require lots of number crunching (i.e., Candy Saga Soda). Also, the audio leaves much to be desired. It is very inconsistent in terms of volume. Even at the lowest setting, some items will blare out at you. I hope that an update will fix some of these issues. But, hey, for $99, I can't expect perfection. I said that I would recommend to a friend, but would make them aware of the limitations and quirks.

It's ok. It had enough storage and is decently powerful for a tablet on the cheaper side, plus it did alright on the battery life. But overall I wasn't impressed with the tablet and opted to get a Microsoft Surface which can handle more intense operations and has more compatibility (but obviously more expensive).

This tablet is great. Period. I purchased this tablet after a bad experience with a 10 inch Neutab tablet that I purchased on Amazon. The Neutab tablet was priced higher, but had an "octacore" processor. It was garbage. Way too slow. The Insignia Tablet is much faster and comparable to my other tablet that costs three times as much (brand withheld to protect victim). The Insignia does everything I ask as long as I reboot it every other day at some point. If I had one problem with it, it would be that the battery does not last all day, only about 8 hours of constant play. But find me a tablet that does go all day, you know what I mean. You won't regret the purchase at this price point!

Purchased this for my 77-year-old father-in-law who wanted a tablet like my Apple iPad to read along for lyrics or learn songs using tablature and chords charts for songs he plays on guitar. He is not very computer literate and I knew an iPad would be more than he would need. Also important, we wanted a large, bright display. After reviewing every tablet at Best Buy and a few other stores where I could get my hands on actual devices, we selected the Insignia. He could not be happier. We added a Google Play gift card so he could add the apps he needed, set him up with access to our shared (dropbox enabled) songbook, and he LOVES IT. I am permanently his favorite daughter-in-law ever. :)

If you've never owned a tablet, it's a good starter but if you've ever had an iPad or higher end tablet, this just won't cut it. Average screen, slower than your phone, cheap build. It's fine for a kid or someone with low standards. If you're into tech, look elsewhere. But it's worth the money when it's on sale!

I was a little skeptical about purchasing this tablet but after reading the reviews and because it was a good price I went ahead and bought it. I am very happy with this product. It's perfect for me. I use it primarily for browsing the web, watching YouTube, and Netflix. One great thing about this tablet is the fact that you can download word so if you need to type up a document or take notes during class it's convenient. You can do a lot on this tablet, I am still playing around with it to see it's true potential. It's very user friendly which is good because I'm not very tech savvy. I would highly recommend this tablet. As a matter of fact I'm about to buy 2 more for my kids.
