It is very responsive and reacts quickly to touch command's and has not shown any real lag between the touch on the screen and the response shown while typing. This really help's when surfing the web or doing a search or even while writing this review! I'll admit I have only been using it for about an hour but I am impressed with it's performance compared to my old tablet.

Great tablet for beginners n someone in school

I have downloaded several apps I've needed to check bills, bank accounts and more when I needed to without hoijng to my cell phone. When have a problem with something I use it when I talk on my phone to an representative surfing through the tablet correcting my issues. I Love it.

It has an Intel CPU, which means good performance, but not as great battery life. I would not recommend it if battery life is your top concern. Other than that, it runs fine, has pretty much pure Android on it (no bloatware), lots of storage, and it's cheap!

It is very slow when opening apps.

I've purchased other Insignia products and liked them very much, but this truly is worthless. It has an unbelievably slow processor. Takes me back to the days of dial up internet service, but slower. I guess you get what you pay for.
