Nice tablet for the money

After sharing my Apple I-pad for the past couple of years, she wanted her own (I might have been too restrictive on great-grandchildren using mine), so off we went to Sam's and she has her own! She's VERY happy now.

This one showed u on sale for only 10 dollars more than the 8 inch model and has more build in memory. Sure beats paying 2-3 times more that other brands

Display quality is okay for reading, not good for videos. Great storage for kindle books. Its a good alternative for the Amazon Fire.

This Insignia - 10.1 - tablet has done the job just fine for me, it also plays music and videos great. A lot of bang for the buck.

Too slow!

Not sure if it is the hardware or the Android 6 on this, but booting takes several minutes. Seems to go out to lunch so frequently that it became annoying. I had an acer iconia of similar pricing and features that I never had such slow operation with.

Still will replace with another one that will take my cell phone plan so I don't have to depend on someone else's internet when I'm traveling, but this does the job for now
