Customers are enthusiastic about the 120mm Case Cooling Fan's quiet operation and effective cooling capabilities, frequently praising its affordability and ease of installation. While some users noted the fan's lower RPM and lack of RGB lighting, many appreciated the absence of distracting LEDs and considered it a great value for budget-conscious builders.

Variable speed case fan

Easy to install, connected to Chassis Fan 2 header on my mainboard.
CPUID HW Monitor lists fan speed in RPM and it is confirmed variable speed. I could not find this specification on the packaging. Quiet so far-probably 40+ hours on it now.
Purchased and installed 9/5/19. Reviewed 9/30/19. Easy to mount on front, bottom position of my 6 year old Asus G10AC case. (Don't over-torque the screws as they go directly into the plastic fan frame!) This did require removal of front face plate of case but this was not difficult either.
You could mount this almost anywhere in your case but I mounted it on the front, bottom position, to pick up cooler air and force it into the case with the fans aided by natural convection. The G10AC case design is very good anyway - only one blue LED to let me know power is on.
I added it to my system after a video card upgrade. I just wanted to get a little more flow through my case. Nothing was even close to overheating before adding this fan. This fan has no silly lights to waste power and generate more heat!
As a long-time computer person and PC gamer, I don't understand why so many "gamers" think it's cool to waste power and generate more heat to dissipate. If you really cared about system performance you'd get rid of the waste. And add a fan! Come on, does your RAM benefit from LED lighting? Silly. Hardware isn't about flashiness and showy lighting. It's about computational power and efficiency.
I tried to upload a screen shot showing the RPM of this fan is variable.

It was hanging on the shelf with several other fans. I grabbed the first one. Got home and opened it only to discover that there was no connector on the end of the wire. This in itself would not normally be a Best Buy problem but rather a Insignia quality control problem.
What makes it a Best Buy problem is that only after discovering this and then looking at the box to see if I had missed something, I found the Best Buy "open box" sticker on the side of the box. The sticker say "No missing accessories/No damage."
What makes it my problem is that I now have to drive back to Best Buy.
Com'on Best Buy, you can do better than that. I don't know who you have checking returns but I would suggest that you use somebody that knows at least the basics of computers to check computer related items after they are returned...

I bought three of these fans and put them on my corsair icue 220t connect them to MSI carbon Pro. Everytime I turn the system on, at least one of them will not spin even though I plug the fans power connector into the right spot. Cheap fans come with their own problems.

This fan, especially when used in conjunction with others of its kind, works better than you'd ever imagine for the price point. I bought two to install in my PC not really caring how they operated as i simply needed a workhorse to pump air out of my case and they worked even better than I could've hoped for. With no extra frills they're literally the best you can get for the price. Surprisingly quiet, good CFM, and literally a plug and play operation, no setup required. I will mention, though, that they do not offer adjustable speeds.

4 pin connector and no LED! Function before fashion. I wish they would stock more but was already on clearance. Already have 3 of these in my pc case. Only gets loud when it's needed, just don't forget to configure fan settings in your BIOS.

You get that you pay for. this 120mm fan is decent and is also quiet. It provides some airflow but the fact that 1200 rpm is its top speed, you don't get much. The wires on it are rather nice and there are no concerns there. It is a tad expensive for its performance but it does its job.

Good performing 4 pin PWM fan. I used it in an old Pro Sound power amp from 1988 - an EV7300. The original fan was a very noisy 120 VAC fan. I used an old 120 v to 12 VDC power supply and installed the fan in the amp. The fan kept the amp cool with low enough fan noise for use in my home stereo set up. The original fan was far too noisy to use the amp for home stereo.
Couple this fan with an inexpensive PWM fan controller with a thermistor to sense heat sink temp and this fan runs slower , quieter, while keeping the amp cool. The controller speeds the fan up to full speed when heat sink temps increase. Most of the time the fan runs at the slowest speed when driving the amp at indoor power levels.
Good fan great price with PWM control - what more do you want?

I’ve bought many fans over the years and I actually like the performance of these over some other brands. They aren’t going to move as much are as some others but they are very quiet and the price is good.

These are a fairly generic item, but for a cooling fan, I'm not needing or wanting anything more than an item that works. It was exactly as advertised.
I was putting together a new hand build PC, was replacing my A.i.O. water cooling unit and needed some additional fans for case cooling. These worked and are working well. I don't want or need any LED lighting - just something that moves air. These fans are quiet and have been working since I installed them and turned everything back on.
Just be mindful of how long you might need the power cable to be AND if you have enough outlets for your needs. In my example, I ended up having to buy 12" power cord extensions as the power leads on the fans weren't long enough, but had plenty of fan connections on the motherboard. The length of the power leads was not an issue of the fan though; that was my fault for not being through during my layout planning.
I also bought some rubber mounting "pins" (from another big name online vendor), so as to help minimize vibration - it REALLY helped! A suggestion perhaps to Best Buy: offer these on the shelf too?
Overall, a quality & competitively priced unit.

I had an old fan that had come with my computer case which was starting to get annoyingly loud. Looking online, I saw a lot of fans which cost over $100 and come with fancy lights, but this one had decent reviews at a very affordable cost. That might be a cause for concern, but having used this fan now for a few weeks, I can attest that it's a moderately quiet fan that will spare you non-essentials and not break your budget, either. Installation is, as with all fans, very simple.

A cheap and basic case fan. I use this as the only case fan in my ATX Mid Tower, mounted in the rear exhaust position. It is quiet enough, just blast it with canned air every month or so to keep the dust abated. Keeps my system cool, even in humid 40°C weather.
It has lasted two years to date with no issues. Did I mention how cheap this fan is?

I have a few of these installed in my Rosewill Tyrfing ATX case. They are pretty quiet, but do move more then enough air to keep the case cool. I have a Ryzen 3600 installed in the case along with a 2070 Super, and have had zero issues with temps building up, due to how reliable the case fans have been, Great buys at a great price.

I bought two of these fans when I purchased my Corsair water cooling system. I needed two additional fans to put at the top of my case for exhaust(hot air goes up). They are working out great and are quiet. I have them on max RPM and they don't have any kind of sound dampening that I can see which is crazy because they run silent. The air flow is nice.
The only problem I had with these fans is the cord lining. It has some kind of sticky substance on it or its made of this substance. Not sticky to where it will attach to the side of the case but sticky to the touch. It just fills weird.
The fan 3 pin cords are fairly long which I was greatful for. I have both of them running to a 4 pin splitter which can run 5 fans.
Pros
-Runs quiet
-Great Cooling
-Great Price
-Easy installation
Cons
None other than the odd feeling/substance on the fan 3pin cord.
