I am happy with this purchase! I can finally see everything in my freezer! My old chest freezer was small and I could never see the stuff on the bottom. I keep this freezer in my house, but I like that it is garage ready. I also like that it can be a fridge, but I have not tried this feature out since I only needed a freezer.

This freezer is a very good product and I'm enjoying the capabilities that it has. This freezer fits my needs because it's not too large and it's not too small.

Needed a good frost free freezer and this one is great. Lots of space and love the 2 drawers. Delivery was on time and they did a great job.

I love my new defreeze I retired my old one from 1995, yes it kasted that long. The only problem was the rubber was coming off This one is nice ,roomy and converts to a refrigerator you can not go wrong with this one.

Hubby and I have been talking about getting a deep freezer for a while. After the stress of the quarantine, we knew we had to go ahead and buy one. It feels so good knowing we have extra food at the house if needed. This baby is huge and allows us to stock up on foods as they go on sale. I love this design compared to the coffin-style deep freezers. This allows me and my hubby to keep up with our inventory a lot easier! So far no complaints, I sure hope it stays that way!

overall it's pretty nice, but the door seal is a bit tight, if it's not fully weighed down with food you might end up pulling the whole freezer forward while trying to open the door

Loving the freezer, but our delivery guys were AWESOME! One was new, in training, a very nice young man - wish I recalled his name but am afraid if I put down what I think, I’ll be wrong - (I think it was his first day, and his mom should be proud) and the other was Isaac, and he was just made to be customer facing. Excellent to interact with. They were wonderful. The freezer is just what I needed. And the digital display of the temp is really appreciated. Thanks, Best Buy, for an excellent signature product and a fabulous crew.

This freezer is just right for the Wife and Myself. We have had it a little over a year now. We keep it full most of the time and it has not given us any trouble. We have not had any problems (sagging shelves, hard to open door) as in other reviews. We have it set up in our sun room it stays cold even thru the hot summer. Also we haven't noticed a difference in our electric bill.

Great secondary unit - why buy one when you buy two at twice the price? It has worked out great to have a full size freezer and matching refrigerator to supplement our smaller unit in the kitchen. Doors are a little hard to open when they aren’t full - but that just means that seal is tight! Great value.

This Insignia™ - 17 Cu. Ft. fridge is awesome this is the second one we own no problems at all love that you can program it to be one big freezer too.

I LOVE this freezer/refrigerator! I bought two for garage: use one as freezer & one as fridge.

Only reason I couldn’t give it a rating of 5 is in shipping one of the door shelf’s was off on 1 side and wedged against the freezer wall. Delivery guys had to to pull open the door with force and caused the white coating to get marred up. The freezer itself is great. Door seals TIGHT so it may be difficult for younger kids or someone with strength or disability concerns to grab something out of it. I like it and would buy it again. Only using as a freezer

Ordered Insignia 17th Ft upright freezer online, picked up from store, as delivery to my address was not an option. Unboxed and let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in. Set it to 0 degrees Fahrenheit per instructions. Let it run an hour or so. Placed unfrozen popsicles on each shelf in the freezer to monitor freezing. Checked the next day as it takes a while to come up to temperature. Items on the bottom shelf were beginning to freeze, but no others. On day 2, items on the bottom shelf were hard frozen. Items on the next shelf up was soft frozen. The items on the top two shelves were not frozen at all, not even slushy, completely liquid. 4 days later and all the items in the freezer are in the exact same condition. Nothing frozen on the top two shelves at all and on the third shelf down, the popsicle seems to be thawing. I called the customer service number on the appliance, told him what the display said as instructed. The agent stated I’d done everything right and he doesn’t know what’s wrong. He offered for a technician to come out to diagnose the problem and recommend replace or repair. I stated I have no interest in having to possibly repair a brand new item out of the box, as it’s telling of the poor quality and indicates potential future problems. My only option is to load it back up and drive 1.5 hours to my nearest Best Buy store. Not sure if I even want to replace it and try again. Shameful that this is the quality of material that is being sold to the public, especially an item over $700.

Works great, looks good. Can easily accommodate 1/2 side of beef with ample space remaning.

Huge storage capability and very user friendly! Love the digital display on the front makes seeing what settings work without opening it. I also love the double drawers at the bottom and shelves in the door. It’s a bonus that it has an open door alarm.

My parents had purchased this freezer. So when my husband and I were looking for one they recommended this one. Definitely worth the price! Storage space is incredible!

Didn’t want to spend a fortune for a refrigerator for our garage. This was what we were looking for. Packed nice. Easy set up. Works great.
