Customer Ratings & Reviews

Great appliance since it has dual mode (refrigerator/deep freeze). I only use it for deep freeze mode and I upgraded it from another insignia (5.1 cu.ft). This one has digital display which allows you to adjust temp really quickly. The best thing for me is that it has a lot of lights inside.

overall it's pretty nice, but the door seal is a bit tight, if it's not fully weighed down with food you might end up pulling the whole freezer forward while trying to open the door

Lots of room, perfect for a larger family. Delivery was fantastic! They unboxed it, put the handle on put it where I asked them to, plugged it in, leveled it. Perfect!

Great freezer but delivered scratched. It’s great that I can turn it into a fridge if I choose to .

Super good. I like it very much. Easy to use, very spacious. Roomy Strongly recommend . Love it

[Employee of bestbuy] I bought this to replace our chest freezer. The convenience of shelf is amazing (have the 17 cu ft). It’s in my garage where the temperature in summer climbed to 100F for few days and it had no problems at all. When running I hear no discernible noise. I have so far used it as a freezer and I can consistently get temperature at -11F. Icing on the cake is that Bestbuy set this up for me and made sure it’s aligned and balanced.

I purchased to use as a basement freezer and have had no issues at all

Huge storage capability and very user friendly! Love the digital display on the front makes seeing what settings work without opening it. I also love the double drawers at the bottom and shelves in the door. It’s a bonus that it has an open door alarm.

This was purchased for duel purposes. For now, we need a deep freezer, but we also move a lot and often run into rental homes with no refrigerator. The idea that this converts is very appealing. The interior is kind of lacking though, looks very cheap and bland. But, as a freezer, it's serving its purpose. The suction is strong, so we purchased a utility mat to place under it to keep it from moving every time we open the door.

Perfect size and very spacious. Very satisfied with the purchase, delivery, and setup

Nice freezer. Lots of space. Could also be used as a fridge. I’m glad I bought it.

Only had freezer for about 1 month. Love it! Looking forward to not having to defrost!!! Very quiet, lots of room. Great delivery

I really love this convertible refrigerator. It has a little chime that goes off when the door opens that alerts be when my ex is doing his grocery shopping from MY refrigerator. (He has own apt downstairs ) It also shows the temp on the door and has many shelves. It looks nice, performs well and is just what I needed.

Got it early December and now it's almost may. Working great thus far. My deep freezer wasn't big enough and i got tired of digging for everything. Now i don't lose stuff for a year. Solved 2 issues with one item.

This freezer is amazing. It is big and hold a lot of meat. I also love that is can also be a refrigerator so when I done have so many children in my house I can convert it.

Amazing freezer! Bought it to hold 230lbs of meat I had purchased for a party. I love the quick freeze function and the ability to turn it into a refrigerator for storing non frozen items. It's spacious without being another bulky appliance. Great appliance for the price!

I lost my previous freezer of 23 years and this was the best replacement I could find. It fits in the same footprint as the previous one (cube and height). The front display is also a great plus. So far (one month out) this is a great replacement freezer that also can be used as a refrigerator.

We got ours for a freezer to store our processedgame meat. It's perfect size for what were needed it for. Only thing I didn't like was the glass shelves started blowing down when we put the meat in. Had to stack the meat in as support for the next shelf.

The fridge/freezer works awesome. Very happy with it. It is currently used as a freezer, but in the fall my wife will convert it into a fridge for her cookie endeavors.

Excellent freezer and I plan to purchase a second to use as a refrigerator, it's so quiet and appears to be extremely efficient.
