I brought these speakers to give me volume on the laptop. The delivery was free and the price was good.

I bought this system to replace the 20 year old computer speakers (spkrs) I am currently using. Before buying, I compared the specs to the ones I am currently have and saw that the side spkrs were rated the same (1.25 watts). This system was on sale last week and with a $5 rewards coupon made them 1/2 price. When everything was plugged in, I put on a music file. As long as the volume was low, sitting directly in front of the computer, the system was only OK. When the volume was turned up to hear it 5 feet away, the side spkrs sounded as if they were trying to tear themselves apart. Even as old as they are, my present speakers don't sound that bad even when turned up loud enough to hear them across the room (30 ft.) The side spkrs in this system are worse than PURE JUNK!

I recently purchased this speaker set for my laptop. It sounds ok if you're listening quietly, but if the volume is up more than half way, there is a lot of popping or crackling from the sub. The two speakers have an echo to them, resulting in an unpleasant high pitch. I will be returning this item tomorrow.

They would still be terrible. paid $12.99 there is no volume, they distort, sound is awful. hooked them up to a TV, and even at full volume is too quiet.. Am I doing something wrong? least I did not pay the reg. full price for these dogs!

The only thing’s positive about this speaker system is looks, also the front mounted head phone jack and back mounted Aux port. Sound quality is very poor for the pricing of $39.99. I have mailed order speaker that cost less; and that’s including the shipping in the price that blows these away! I love best buy but I just feel like, they just dropt the ball with the pricing of these speakers. I bought this for my kids computer, and he likes them I guess that’s all that matter. That’s the only thing that keeping me from returning them. (-_-)

I expected a lot more from these. I don't see the point of a separate subwoofer since these are so weak. The free harmon/kardon's that came with my dell 8 years ago are still louder than these. Yeah, I know they're cheap. You could do a lot better for the price.

Please Trust me, These are very poor sounding speakers, these are budget speakers i got them for $20 but the price is way to high now, considering the very poor sound quality, these sound very bad, High,Mids and lows sound awful, Buy anything but this, like creative or Logitech,ect

These speakers sound ok but they are possessed by satin or something. They cut themselves on. Yes the switch is off but the blue light comes on. Then there is some noise coming through the speakers like someone rubbing paper or white noise. It does it even when the computer is off. There is a short someplace however the speakers have not been abused in any way. They started giving me trouble right near the warranty running out and now best buy will not fix or replace. Buy a different brand as these are junk.

As most said, you get what you paid for. This speakers has a great look and easy to install but sound are horrible and not worth. I am returning my product.

I will be lighting them on fire when i buy a different brand of speakers, remember what I didn't when I bought this waste of money; you get what you pay for, and if you want to go cheap then your probably going to get something that's worthless in every way shape and form, I wish the store I got this at would've had these set up like they did some of the other ones so I could see just how worthless they are

These speakers worked for 5 minutes. Then nothing.... The woffer is a joke there is no sound coming from it only the right speaker works. The volume is cranked all the way up and sound so low you cannot hear unless you are leaning on the desk. And of course Best Buy will not take them back....

Just got these home and installed them. Right channel is playing on both channels. No output on left channel, but left speaker plays right channel sounds. Clearly a defective item

so-so sound but BROKEN... AS SOON AS 1 DAY. . The left speaker doen't work
