i got this on sale for $19.99 and thought "It's gotta be better than my laptop's speakers" and man was I pleasantly surprised sound is good and the little woofer helps fill it in but it is what it is

This was installed on a "hand me down" computer used for miscellaneous thing by the whole family. It has decent sound for such an inexpensive set. Exactly what I was looking for.

The speaker is prettygood for the price. They got a pretty good power for a small room, like an office room. It would be great if it gets a little louder or more power though. But overall for the price $19.99 I think it's unbeatable.

I had been shopping around for some pc speakers when I saw this set on sale for dirt cheap. I figured what do I have to lose if the sound quality is bad? Well that's not the case at all! These puppies are big on sound and base all for under $20 when I purchased them. After using them for a couple of weeks I would pay double.

My 13 year old Altec Lansing 5.1 system had to be replaced since it started making cracking sounds and I lost the front two channels. I wanted a simple system since my new computer doesn't have any special sound card installed. This Insignia 2.1 system was a good value. I would rate them highly for cost, styling/design, and controls since a separate subwoofer volume control is included. The blue power on LED is a bit bright, but a little square of black electrician's tape with a small hole in the center (when taped over the LED) eliminates that problem. I'm not sure that these speakers are as powerful as my old ones and the bass response isn't "ground pounding" but I am totally satisfied with their balanced response in a small bedroom.

The speaker system works well. Clear sound and perfect for a starter setup. At $15.00, this is an excellent value.

Awesome sound system, and the subwoofer really gives it that extra oomph. I love gaming with these speakers.

The speaker system is a very good amplified speaker system with subwoofer for my daughter's desktop PC. She does play many PC games and this provides clear, detailed stereo sound. Great value.

Had an old computer that I don't use much, but purchased the speakers to play music throughout the day. They are perfect for the old laptop.

The bass could be better, but it's good for my small computer room. The sound quality is great as far as I can tell. Adjustable knobs for volume and bass on the speaker is a nice touch.

theses are great speakers for the price adds great sound for a small package and not very pricey..

I bought these to have better sound from my office computer, and they do the job well. Very inexpensive and sound better than expected.

This speakers are simply good, the sound is clear, and strong enough for a regular computer, and a regular user. I do not need, more than this little, and clear set of speakers...

Easy to hook up and decent sound for a cheaper speaker.

I haven't yet used it, but I did make sure to test it once I got it. It works super great! I liked the loudness of the speakers.

Good speakers for the price. Nice, modern look. Easily visible "power on" indicator light on front of right speaker. Separate controls for volume and bass plus an earphone jack on front of right speaker. Not a lot of power, but good enough if only using for a computer in a small room. Only thing I didn't really like is that power has to go through subwoofer - can't use only the main left and right speakers without the subwoofer.
