They are just LOVING this gift and it gives me a certain peace of mind for their mobility.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought it would be easier to order it delivered to our home vs the trouble of picking it up in the store and having to lift and carry it all the way and difficulty loading it in our vehicle although it is not super heavy. It works fine but the box wasn't damaged at all but the fridge was completely bent damaged and dinged scratched. Its quiet otherwise so far and is cooling. Best buy only resolution for this is to go through the headache of packing it all over again, loading it into our vehicle and shipping it back and once they receive it only then do they send you a new one. Or take it to your store and hope they have one in stock. What a headache to deal with!

One of the top corners is smashed in and dented. I'm not even going to bother to try plugging it in and see if it functions because the exterior damage is unacceptable for a new item. Best Buy needs to improve how these mini fridges are packaged and protected during shipment. There's basically no protection on the corners. They use very thin sytrofoam sheets on the sides, but they don't even fully cover the side areas (maybe only about 70% on each side). It seems that the fridge can move around a lot inside the box during shipment as it isn't really held in place. You would think that there would be some improvement in the packaging after so many reports of dented and damaged fridges being received and returned. Best Buy should spend a few more cents to have better packaging to prevent these issues.
