Great features at a fantastic price, and the Best Buy brand. Had it for 1 week. Freezer was fine. Fridge never got below 41 degrees. Food went bad. Returned it at the end of the week. Very sad.

First it came with a couple broken clips that I ignored the about a month after buying the clip for the door broke and now the maker stopped working! I haven’t even had it for a 2 months! And now it’s no longer eligible for return! I am stuck with it and the door won’t even stay closed!

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER DESIGNED

Shouldn't have rushed and should have looked closer at details. The overall concept is OK, but not well executed. 1. The shelves are all *fixed* position and nonadjustable, contrary to the description. No tall containers will fit on any shelf unless laid down on their side. 2. The smaller drawers should have had different widths but since they are equal you must open *BOTH* doors in order to pull out the right hand drawer. 3. The only location a tall bottle will fit is the right door bottom shelf - very limited area, like 2 large juice bottles or cartons. 4. The center seal flap, although clever, can be easily damaged if you are careless. 5. The freezer is OK. 6. The control panel is functional and looks good. 7. The Ice & water dispenser are good and reasonably quiet in operation. 8. Has a built in water filter ($30 to replace). Conclusion - stick with a side by side, likely to have a better overall design.

This is my 2nd insignia refrigerator, the first wasn't cooling properly and my food was going bad. My family was getting sick, my daughter was missing school with stomach aches, I never thought my BRAND NEW refrigerator would be the problem. We replaced it under warranty with another Insignia refrigerator, and now we are having the SAME problem. Refrigerator won't cool below 48 degrees. All my food is going bad. Also, the plastic used for the drawers and shelves is very brittle. And the spacing between shelves and storage areas is too short to store most common items, and not adjustable. Very poor design.
