Trips GFCI plug

I plugged it in and it turned on but when I checked a few hours later, it was off. It tripped the GFCI plug. I reset the GFCI and tried again, and same thing. Turned on but was off by the next morning. I repeated this a few times. Eventually called my electrician to come see if the GFCI plug was the issue. He looked and said no, it’s the fridge that’s using too much power in surges. It’s a dedicated outlet with only the fridge plugged in. So he removed the GFCI and made it a regular outlet. It’s been staying on since then; about 3 weeks now since I got the outlet changed. The electrician said there’s no way an energy efficient fridge should be tripping a GFCI plug on a dedicated circuit…“Luckily”, the door of the fridge came dented during delivery, so I was offered a replacement by Best Buy. I have to wait until Nov 8 for the replacement to arrive so I’m using this questionable one until then; about 3 weeks more to wait for the new one. Last week the fridge started making loud vibrating sounds. The sound stays on for an hour or longer at a time and is pretty annoying. Kinda getting worried that this thing is a fire hazard. Another minor complaint is that the fridge door doesn’t swing closed on its own. At least with previous fridges I had, you lightly push the door and it would close. This fridge, I have to completely push the door closed. Otherwise, the capacity of the fridge is pretty good and it looks good for a cheap fridge. The delivery guys said it was really light for them to carry up, so maybe that’s a positive if you’re picking up the fridge yourself. I’ll update again when the replacement fridge arrives. Hopefully these are issues with just this particular fridge since it came dented.

Only problem I found is it does not automatically closes the door. There is a beep sound that plays if door is open for a long time but I'd the door is not closed all the way and little open with light turned off then it does not beep. Otherwise we love this refrigerator.

Broken with a side of indifference

Poor materials, poor design from a company whose employees say it is corporate policy. Why even bother? I won't be purchasing any more Insignia products or anything else through BestBuy.
