It is about 5ft long without pulling on it(see photo), and if you are using the 3.5mm adapters to plug in your headphones, stretching the cable will pop off the adapters. I would only plan on using it up to 8 ft, because the tension of the coiled cable is bad for the ports on your device as well. I got it on sale, and it works.

This is a good product, great quality. Been using it for the last 3 months without any problems.

This item was a gift to myself that I needed to add to a Christmas gift from my wife. I use it on my one and only metal detector. Was not sure how it would work but after getting it home it fit just fine. Have plenty of room to move the detector at different angles without getting tangled up. I'm sure after a couple of rounds with the detector it would probably pay for the cable! Very satisfied and useful foe the headphones. The price was very reasonable.

if you have multiple types of equipment in your home, the Insignia is a great purchase, the price is affordable and it works just as good as a pricey Adapter. The connection was easy and the quality was great. I was happy with my purchase of this product.

First my sales rep knew exactly what I was looking for at a low price. This item comes with serveral adaptable pieces and fits most inputs. The cord extends with ease and is non intrusive. Recommend this to anyone who need to connect to a headphone

Overall I was happy with this item. It did exactly what it is described as doing: extending your headphones. It also comes with a few different adapters to fit whatever types of headphones you have. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the tightness of the cable coil. I need to anchor the cable with a pillow, my foot, or something else if I am sitting more than five feet away, or risk pulling the cable out of its input source.

No one admits it, wired is better than BT wireless. I used these to extend a receiver headphone connection to a seating position on a back deck, came up thru the floor. Just sit down, plug in, enjoy nature while critical listening to music. Extra points for coming with adapters, you know 1/4 to 3.5m and back.

I purchased this cable to extend the reach of my headphones from my stereo/PC. This cable is sturdy and works exactly as I had hoped. Also, this cable came with an adapter to fit the smaller diameter jacks common to iPads, etc. This is nice too as it allows me to use this cable with my laptop. All-in-all, a great extension cable at a great price. I recommend anyone who is looking for a means to extend their range of motion while wearing headsets, etc., to buy this cable. It's great!

After I moved, some smaller items got lost in the shuffle, so I found myself needing to replace my headphone extension cable. My original seemed to be a larger guage, but this replacement transmits sound just as well , if not better. And my original cable had a tendency to cut out when near the limit of its extension capability--around 20' on its 25' length. This one I've stretched and no loss of connectivity! Kudos.

This cable was exactly what I was looking for, it also comes with extra adapters for numerous types of audio jacks. I didn't need those but I will gladly use them now! It extends up to 20 feet and thats more than enough. I'm very satisfied.
