This stereo is not bad for a basic stereo with 200 watts. Everything works as stated and blue tooth range is not bad. Just know your have to have decent floor speakers to push the base as there is no sub output.

Good sound quality and having Bluetooth connection is a plus. Easy to setup I added my Alexa input so I can listen to Pandora and Amazon music while out in the backyard and pool area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This receiver has a great sound and is easy to operate. This unit is in my workshop but has plenty of power to push the sound out to the pool area. I would think there are better receivers available but I don't believe you will find a better one in this price range.

This Insignia receiver has more than proved its value. It gets plenty loud, sounds great, and the Bluetooth feature is super handy. I also took advantage of an open box. It's Packaging and the receiver itself showed zero signs of being worse for wear.

I bought a Bluetooth to audio (RCA) adapter from Amazon to use with an old receiver at my wife small business. However, the adapter did not keep reliable Bluetooth connection. I have had to reconnect Bluetooth at least once a week. I have considered buying Sherwood RX4508, which has Bluetooth 3.0, but kept debating about it. This simple receiver has very similar look and spec with the Sherwood receiver (especially the connector layout in the back of both is almost identical). When BB had it on sale for less than $100, I thought why not give it a try. It is a better deal than the Sherwood and it comes with a remote control. We use an Android tablet to stream music from internet and connect to this receiver thru Bluetooth. It has been a month and the Bluetooth connection has not disconnected once. My wife business has 4 speakers on the ceiling and we don't need any fancy sound. This receiver works great for our need. Like other reviewers have noted, it is not hot at all comparing to 5 other receiver I have owned. By the way, there is no where in the manual, on the box, BB or Insignia website telling the version of the Bluetooth. I guess it has Bluetooth 3.0 like the Sherwood receiver. If it has Bluetooth 4.0, they would printed some where. However, this is not a mobile device, therefore there is no need to has newer Bluetooth 4.0 version since the big difference between 3.0 and 4.0 is power consuming.

Impressed by the upgraded amp in the newer models. Clean sounding with respectable power output. For 8ohm speakers only or system will overheat. Bluetooth works reliably with a crisp sounding connection. Functions well for my application.

Our receiver works great and we love the blue tooth compatibility. We felt the price was very reasonable. My only criticism is the FM antenna - it is not very strong, and the connection to the receiver limits other options.

I needed a bluetooth receiver for garage, this one worked great with older Bose accoustimass 5 for sound. Adequate power for additional speakers.

For a budget stereo receiver, this machine has great sound quality and rich bass. No noticeable distortion in sound. I have it paired with a pair of Martin Logan bookshelf speakers and a 150 watt sub. When paired via bluetooth, the sound volume and quality diminish some. Best quality is having your audio source hardwired. I use this in my classroom for my students and they love the quality and volume of sound the system puts out together. I didn't want to spend a lot for a receiver for my classroom and this one impresses.

I bought this to power some rather decent Klipsch bookshelf speakers. The speakers are 100W peak & this receiver does a great job getting them loud. The volume meter maxs out at 60, yet I only need to keep it at 35 to create a enjoy listening experience. Not to mention I picked this up directly from Best Buy with a $150 budget. The price tag said $129.99. I decided to go for it. When I got to the register & he rung the item up it rung up for $89.99... my eyes got big & then I was like you know what... I will spend that extra money I just saved on a 4 year extended warranty. So lets say I am happy with my purchase. The only thing I consider a con is I wish it was 2.1 rather than 2.0. I'd like to connect a sub. Not a big issue though.

The nicest feature for me is the Blu-tooth functionality. Sounds good. Plenty of power for a simple set-up. Make sure all of your audio drivers are updated for best performance.

Got this receiver to power 4 outdoor speakers at my country cabin and it works great. Bluetooth connects as soon as it’s turned on so long the last device is in range of it. Volume can be on the low side but will get pretty loud at 50, just make sure your phone is turned up all the way. Was able to plug a 3rd set of computer speakers into it for the inside of the house you just need a red and white rca to headphone jack cable and they have have to have their own volume control and the aux out plays whichever source you have selected.

Needed an inexpensive amp to power the built-in speakers after a recent home move, figuring I can always upgrade to something better after time. After installing this receiver and hooking up my stereo and home theater components, I actually see no reason to "upgrade." This device does everything I need it to, providing plenty of volume to the home speakers and handling inputs from all of my devices. Additionally, Bluetooth pairing with my Echo Dot was simple. I have no complaints about this receiver at all and would easily recommend it to anyone.

Needed to replace my worn out receiver in the garage / man cave, and this low end priced unit did the trick. Matched up to a nice pair on 30" box speakers, the sound is fine for our purposes. It does have a CD In hookup, which I didn't see in the specs, but was hoping to be able to make work. Included di-pole wire FM antenna could have been a little longer, and the speaker connection terminals weren't the easiest I've ever used... but I got tunes again at a fair price.

I did want to have a small(ish) Bluetooth enabled receiver in one of my rooms to provide playback from tablet and smartphones. I did have existing speakers to utilize. I compared prices and features and finally ended up to this "normal sized" receiver/amp. Connecting a tablet to this was simple and easy enough. Connecting another device was simple as well. Switching between devices can be tricky since your tablet or phone may try to automatically connect to BT receiver. In any case this is 2 channel (left and right) and so two speaker amplifier. I would say this is pretty good value for money. It is not high end hifi, it does not have too many adjustments, but does well what I wanted it to do.

This is my second receiver from Insignia, I have an older version that I hooked up to some old 3-Way (100 Watt) Fisher speakers at home and they sound great. I have had my older unit for several years and it is still going strong. I bought this newer unit to use at my office with Bose 301V speakers rated at 10-150 Watts per channel. I am a novice with electronics, but the sound is great, the bluetooth works great, connects immediately every time with my iPhone. The sound both at home with the old unit and with the new unit is very good. I don't know, it might sound better with a higher wattage receiver, but for $100 this receiver sounds great to me!

Limited to my office. Good stereo sound. Blue tooth if needed. TV sound flows through the system with smooth clarity. Easy to set up. Purchase price was approximately $80.

Larger than expected, like the Bluetooth, sound is good with my speakers, antenna isn't that good, can't pick up stations that I like.
