Customer Ratings & Reviews

Easy setup, very quiet. Door shuts very tight. It's been doing great in my garage without climate control. Others say the glass shelves are a bad idea. I have a half beef coming in a month, hopefully they can handle the weight. They seem sturdy so far.

Love the fact that it can act as a fridge or freezer. Very spacious and cooled to freezing in 3 hours. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because if the glass shelves. We put an entire butchered cow in there and was nervous about the weight.

This freezer is spacious and extremely well made. I like that it’s bright inside since I keep it my garage. It holds a nice steady temperature. I especially like the temperature control s on the front of the door. It has sturdy adjustable glass shelves & 2 roomy drawers on the the bottom. What’s not to like about this freezer!

Love the amount of space that is in this freezer. I just added some clear plastic containers to keep things separated. I love that it has a light on the inside, so that you can actually see what you're looking for. I also love the door alarm, no more accidentally leaving the door slightly ajar. Great freezer so far.

Freezer works as it should, very easy set up. Takes no time at all to freeze the food and the perfect size. Oh And the price was great

Great freezer and tested to work in the garage! Lots of room and great price. Best Buy sales associate told me these are manufactured by the same plant as the name brands and at a much better price!

Nice large freezer! Door cubbies and wide shelves. Cool and is efficient. The door seals tight.

I love my new freezer. I’m replacing my old 9cuft freezer. The door is a little hard to open as I saw on other reviews but it is because is a big refrigerator and it seals the door when you close it. When the driver installed on my garage do not adjusted the front legs and was almost imposible open the door without moving the freezer, I adjusted down the legs and now is easier to open.

Literally the best value currently on the market. This is one of, if not the, largest upright freezers available. The fact that it can be used as a refrigerator is just the cherry on top.

Works great! Good quality. Love the digital temperature read on the front so you know it's at the temp you want. It's big and taller than average but we love the extra space and are glad we opted for the larger model. Especially during the holidays. We are using it as a frig in the garage.

We have been looking for a good garage refrigerator / freezer for a while. We purchase this 21 Cu Ft. convertible for our garage. What we like about this is that it is very spacious and sturdy. We did have an issue with the freezer where ice was forming on the door, we were able to contact Best Buy and have it replaced. Other than that, overall, we think it is a great garage addition.

Great size, 21 cf, and great price as a deal of the day special. Delivery and set-up was easy and the dòr seals very tight, almost too tight. Stocking up on sales at the grocery is a no brainer when you don't have to worry about having enough space.

Great size and great for my garage I like the fact you can use it as a refrigerator or a freezer. I’m using mine as a refrigerator because I have two deep freezers already. Great for a second refrigerator for the garage

Absolutely love love love the freezer. The fact that if our inside fridge dies this freezer can turn into a refrigerator is an added bonus!! We will buy another one when our next fridge dies. 21 cubic feet is a lot bigger than we thought which is awesome. It holds meat from 8 deers with room left over. Very very impressed!!

My Insignia Freezer was delivered and installed 11/25. It is exactly as I expected and the delivery/installation great! I know it has only been a few weeks but we are off to a great start. It has been running flawlessly so far.

We bought this to use as a freezer, though it has the ability to be either freezer or refrigerator. In the many months we have had it, it has been perfect. We use it basically daily as it’s our everyday freezer. It has plenty room for everything we need and to organize it all as well. It has a great seal and love that it has a door open alarm. It has been a great buy and the price was great too.

This is an amazing freezer, so simple and spacious. It leaves more than enough room for my family to store our food, instead of playing Tetris in our old tiny freezer.

Have no complaints on this freezer so far. We get a half beef and store it in there. We also buy raw pet food. There is plenty of room for all that plus our groceries. Never going back to a chest freezer again.

Nice looking freezer or fridge. Whichever you prefer to use it as. Bought it to replace a deep freezer. Tried it as a fridge for the first week. Worked great. Tested Temperature is true to digital display. Changed it to freezer and it cooled down very quickly. Temp readings also match digital display. So far it's a great purchase. It is so much easier to find items in this compared to the deep freezer I have. Only thing that may cause some people issues is that the door seals really well (which is a good thing) but could be slightly difficult for some to open. Will probably buy another to use as dedicated fridge.

This refrigerator/freezer is a big beast and is awesome. We bought it to use as a freezer. Seriously thinking of buying another one for refrigeration. Highly recommended over the chest type freezers.
