I needed a network cable to connect my laptop to my ethernet because my old cable's tab broke from being plugged in and out of laptop. So I purchased this network cable's tab is more pliable so I don't have to worry about plugging in and out of my laptop with the tab breaking. It's the perfect length and a great bargain. I'm going to buy another as a backup.

I bought two of the Insignia 3' Cat-5e Network Cables to connect to two different gaming concoles. The network signal is strong, and the casing around the cables is durable. I enjoy the 3' cables so I won't have loose or extra cable sticking out from behind my entertainment center. The 3' length worked perfectly for what I had in mind!

All my cables at home are CAT7. That is the current state of the network arts. Why are these still being sold? My wife and I needed a cable to connect an Ethernet to USB adapter from her Surface II Pro to a hotel network. The local Best Buy did NOT have a 3 foot CAT7 cable, so we were forced to buy this antique, instead. C'mon people, technology does not stand still.

I needed these for a short hop from NETGEAR 5-port switch to a Swann security camera DVR. Worked fine, clips lock the cable in fine. Not much else to comment on for cables as they generally are either good or defective!

This cable solved my wifi problem with a computer that would not work on wifi. It kept dropping after a Windows upgrade. Our home modem was directly behind this computer so I wired it directly and it works great.

Maybe a little weird, but I am using two laptops on my desk. With my laptops, router, modem, and external speakers, I have more than enougth cables. This cable is just what I needed. It makes for a clean hook-up.

I needed several of these for Networking my full house. Being able to get them in a 3 Foot span rather than something much longer was critical to what I needed. Thanks Best Buy.

The 5e cable works just fine. My cable is three foot cable which is nice for adding components to your TV and not having wires hanging all over. This does the job if you need a short cable.

My son needed a Cable to connect his laptop to the school network for faster processing during computer class and this cable met his needs well at an affordable price.

Replaced the factory cable that came with my router, should have gotten the Cat6, but long story short, this was gotten. Noticed about a 10MBPS gain with this cable.

Good ethernet cable. I haven't had any issues. Use it to connect my Roku 3 to a power line adapter that ultimately connects to a router.

There isn't a whole lot of difference in CAT 5 cables that I have found. This worked perfect to go from the modem to my network hub, didn't lose any speed so should work for anyone.
