Randomly Explodes in sound and pixelated screen

Last year I bought this one and the customer service ended up telling me its defective and I should return it because it was having trouble with the setup. This one was working great for about a week and suddenly, out of nowhere it will explode in very loud sound and the entire screen into pixels. Very scary as it happened both when I was watching a scary movie and another time when I fell asleep, so it woke me up abruptly and the remote doesnt automatically shut the tv off. It already happened 3 times which makes me thing this one is going to have to be returned too. I was told this brand usually comes defective, which is very strange (and a complete waste of time)

The sound quality and picture could be better, the speakers are a bit weak, and the picture is extremely bright, but if you adjust the settings, it can be managed. However, this TV, as an example, and many other reviews will tell you a similar issue. The TV had issues on DAY ONE of setup, it would start flashing random colors, making the loudest static screeching noise possible at max volume, and could not be turned off with the remote, and could only be turned off by physically unplugging the TV. This would happen at random, for no reason. Had to bring the TV in for a warranty claim since it was past the return date. Several boxes of the SAME EXACT TV were there waiting for repairs or replacement, likely with the same issue if I had to guess, with the numerous claims of the same issue I had.
