Frankly speaking i read the reviews and i was a bit hesitant to buy this Dehumidifier. But to my doubts this worked as expected. First night itself i had a bucket full of water which i didn't expected from my basement. I just hope it lasts for years.

For a couple weeks this filled up nearly every day (which is a good thing) definitely pulled a lot of moisture out of the air. The only downside (which was expected) was the hot air that it blows out when it’s working.

Great little product. Have to empty it twice daily (when not using the hose) but that just means it’s doing its job! Hose attachment is great if you have a sink or drain nearby. Good price on this unit, works well keeping our small basement dry.

Very pleased with this dehumidifier. Not only is it Energy Star certified but is one of the most efficient on the Energy Star list. It is keeping the humidity in the basement to a very comfortable level

Great dehumidifier. I have it working in a very damp area of my house and it will fill up with 35 pints in about 14 hours. Very impressive the amount of water it can draw out of the air in a short period of time. A bit noisy, but thats expected with a dehumidifier.

I found this dehumidifier at a good price. Because I live in a cold climate, I have not yet had the need to use it. I anticipate it to work well and do the job. It is an attractive unit. I am giving it high marks because of my history with Insignia products.

The dehumidifier has met the needs required in our basement for our humidity problem. I like the compact size and being able to attach a hose so it can run without having to empty it every so often.

The downstairs was humid, started to see some minor mold, so decided a humidifier was in order. It has made the downstairs nice and dry, has lots of useful settings and has done a good job.

Good except for one thing - it blows warm air out the side vent when it’s on. This is counterintuitive to the purpose I bought it for, which was to help reduce the humidity in my home during summer and in turn hopefully reduce the heat temperature in the room it’s in. However due to the warm air being blown out the side vent it actually made the room warmer when it was on and running. I did like the water it pulled out though and used it for my plants :)

I wish I had started to use earlier a dehumidifier in my basement. This model is very pratical and functional and do all the necessary absortion of the excess humidity, which have been increasing with the heavy thunderstorms in this area. It is a must have appliance to avoid the creation of mold, and this particular one does all the work and offers a number of useful settings. I have another one from Insignia also of the same size, that I have been using for almost two years in another room, and so far it has never failed to work properly

I hooked it up, attached a hose for overflow into the sump area and let her rip. It's been doing a great job and is so quiet!

This is a great dehumidifier for my dorm room. It can be a little loud but I like the white noise. You do have to empty the water tank often tho.

I like it a lot since all the humidity in the house works and it doesn't roast too much harshness

Didn’t know how much I needed this until after I purchased this. Purchased for a basement, we couldn’t believe the amounts of water that was pulled out of the air using this dehumidifier. Easy set-up, easy to move around on wheels, and easy to empty the water tank.

Loud but it’s in our basement so don’t notice it. Basement humidity was extremely high, after running this for a few days it was able to make a significant difference, and it now runs intermittently. We did notice an increase in our electrical bill, but that was to be expected. We bought an outlet house because we were emptying the tank at least 1-2 times per day.

Working well, is easy to empty, and is a nice-sized tank.
