Let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of Insignia (bestbuy brand) products. Everything that I've purchased from Insignia has proved to be of great quality and reliable. This air filter is no different. I purchased this unit for my bedroom, as I already have a Dyson for the living room. For the money I spent on the Dyson, I could have purchased a few of these and boy do I regret not getting an Insignia air filter first. You can see and hear the air filter going to work when the air quality changes. I set it and forget it on auto and sometimes forget it's even on except for when the air quality is really bad. If you're on the fence and think because it's less expensive than other brands that it's inferior, think again. Try it and you'll be tempted to purchase more for the rest of your home.

It's unbelievably quiet. It filters the air effectively, even without heavy forest fire smoke (why we bought it) we can tell our everyday air is cleaner.

I purchased this product when Best Buy had it on sale and has turned out to be a great purchase. I like the size and shape as it does not take up a lot of space. Along with having a small footprint, it runs very quietly.

I needed an Air cleaner, because of allergies. This purifier started working immediately!!! It showed the air quality and worked to get the room to better air purity. It is also very quiet. Very good purchase for our home.

I like the low noise level and for night time it has the option to turn off all lights. I don't know how accurate the particulate measurement is, but it's cool to see the number go down.

Fits on my nightstand, and is incredibly quiet. We've had it running for about a month now non-stop, and it's greatly improved the air quality in the bedroom.

This thing works really well for clearing out the smell of cigarette smoke from my annoying neighbors! Knocked it down a star because the filters are pretty expensive. Otherwise, this is a very solid product.

This is a giant unit. Nice and quiet, but much too complex to learn and use as intended. Three friends also looked at it, and were equally befuddled.

This purifier is nice and quiet. It was very much plug and play once I removed the protective plastic films covered some of the pieces. Don't forget to open the front and remove that last bit of plastic. I would buy another one if I didn't already have enough air purifiers.

I just got this product, and it has been running for about 10 minutes, and i can already tell a difference in the air. Not annoyingly loud, decently sized, not bulky or heavy. Perfect for apartments or a decent size living room or bedroom.

I have seasonal allergies and dogs so getting a air purifier was a no brainer. I chose this one based on the reviews and am not disappointed. I love the display meter than changes color and number based on 2.5m particles in the air to let you know what the air quality was. Normally it sits at a number between 6-15 which is good. Anything above 50 is when your sinuses may start suffering. The other day while I was at work, my dog decided to bring a bag of soil inside the living room and tore the whole thing apart. I came home to a mound of dirt on my carpet. After cleaning the pile up, I went over and saw that the meter read 110 and since i left it on auto, the fan had kicked up. It’s sensitive to changes in the air and quick to react. 1-2 days later, came back down to 10-20. 10/10 would by again!

Loving it so far! Like every insignia product I have purchased this has exceeded my expectations. When the air filter is set to 1 is it whisper quiet. I don't even know that it is running. When you turn it up higher it is pushing a crazy amount of air.

This works well in the master bedroom. I keep the setting as sleep mood so it runs quietly and all the LED lights are off. I would recommend to buy this is you have allergies. There is a noticable difference in air quality!

Great air cleaner. Bought this for my "cat room" to keep dust from the litter boxes and hair under the control. Is working great. Quiet and works great.
