Amazon Prime customers, this is the TV for you

This is actually my second FireTV Edition Insignia TV. I also have the 50" version of the same TV in my "guitar room aka man cave". We bought this one for the guest room. Both TVs are mounted to the wall and connected to soundbar speakers. I love these TVs. If you're an Amazon Prime member (who isn't these days? ) and you prefer streaming on-demand TV over satellite or cable (who doesn't these days?) then these are the TVs for you. Plug it in, turn it on, log onto your wifi, log into your Amazon account and the world is at your fingertips. No wires or cables or set top boxes required. Alexa enabled and Echo device compatible too. For the money, these TVs can't be beat. Two thumbs up.

I think this is the 5th Insignia Fire TV I have purchased in the past few months; I even have one in my garage! Easy to use, easy to set up. Good sound without a soundbar, but I did add one. The soundbar is regulated with the TV remote. Great picture, lightweight, wonderful TV.

We two of these TVs for our Sunday school class rooms at church. We loved them so much we came back and bought one for our camper. It’s perfect for our camper. It was easy to mount and very easy to set up. I Love that we don’t have to toggle through a menu or component button to switch between DVD, Hdmi or Antenna. Everything is on your main tv screen. You can be watching something on a streaming service and once it ends easily switch to DVD or antenna. I also like the fact it mixes all the live services together. For instance when you scroll to the live feature on the screen it shows you a guide for every live service you have. You can see everything that is currently live and scroll through seamlessly through every live channel and service you’re subscribed to. I could go on and on about everything we like about this tv. The price was great as well.

Very nice smart TV which we got on sale which made the quality & price an outstanding buy. Easy to use & guicky set up and integrate into any home theater system or stand alone installation. Sound quality is good & has fiber interface for a sound bar or stero system.

Excellent picture, sound quality is acceptable. Firestick integration is a wonderful bonus and very easy to use. Cons: Cannot use Alexa speakers for sound, but I was aware of this when I bought it. Seems like it should be something easy for a software update to take care of...but Amazon hasn't. Bought this to replace an old 32" DYNEX HDTV I bought from Best Buy 10 years ago. This 39" was about the same physical size but with a larger viewing screen. Advances in technology have made TVs smaller and thinner and it looks much nicer in place of the old flat screen. highly recommend this TV.

Good TV at Great Price, Poor pickup/shipping

Bought this TV for my daughter for Xmas present. Setup was easy and connected easily to Bose sound bar. All is working well and she is very pleased with the TV so far. Nice upgrade from previous TV. Picture is very clear and built in Fire TV is just what she wanted. Great Black Friday pricing on the TV. Only complaint was with Best Buy pickup/shipping. Was supposed to pick up at local store next day after purchase but got email day of pickup that item pickup was "delayed" with no pickup date given. Wound up having to have the TV shipped from another city even though showing in stock online at local store(s) I would have picked up from. Result was five day delay in getting the TV. Not very efficient way to do business, Best Buy.

Was hesitant to go with a lesser name brand television. Decided to try it due to the huge price difference. VERY pleased with the quality. Ease of set up. Clarity. Built in speakers are more than adequate for the space.

Great TV at an amazing price with the Fire TV by Amazon built-in. Fits in my big rig perfectly on a swivel mount. Plus it's very lightweight, which makes mounting it easy.

    Nice TV for back porch

This is a nice inexpensive TV for my back porch. It has wireless built in and actually contains a Fire module for streaming. It has a nice picture and the sound quality is good for it's price point. The only thing I don't like is that every time it starts, it reverts to the Fire input, regardless of where it was when turned off. I would like to be able to set a default input, as my wife doesn't like the extra complication of changing inputs so she can watch her cable shows. There may be a way, but I haven't found it yet. Otherwise nice TV, especially on sale like I got it. Would be great for a bedroom, garage, or in my case back porch.

TV has a very nice picture. Easy to use. Sound is crisp and clear. My only complaint would be you can't use the TV without remote and if TV can't detect remote your TV is useless.

I love this tv. I use it in an office/guest bedroom. I was reluctant about the picture quality because it is only a 720 p, but the picture comes out great. It is used to receive local programs with an antenna and other channels, using the interenet fire tv that came with it. My only wish is there was a way one could control the television and go to other sites and stations without the original remote. I thought I could use a downloaded app when the remote was missing - but found I needed the remote to let the television have access to the app. I paid $99.99 for this 39 inch insignia fire tv through Best Buy. If they have it at that price again, I will purchase another.

Perfect size for a smaller living room, clear picture and surprisingly good sound. The only con is the remote and some of the UI on screen, simplified is not always better nor simpler.

I was concerned about set up especially since have xfinity but it was very easy and quick. I had more problems putting the legs/stand on little screws were a pain! I love the color my old tv most have been bad cause wow I had to get use to the color being so good. Not horribly pleased with sound so if you are one of those that really need stereo sound you might not be to happy. I am not a big tech person so it does a good job. I had no problem with the apps (Hulu, discovery, etc..) all work just fine. Now I haven’t had tv for to long so I am hoping it stays good!
