I enjoyed setting up this TV for my daughter. She loves that it is a smart TV. The remote is a little cheesy, but it functions. It was a great price for the size.

I bought two of these TVs in different sizes for my boys. They love the ease of watching the amazon prime movies, Hulu and Netflix. The remotes have the Alexa built in, so they can just talk and ask for their favorite shows. They have a good bright picture and the refresh rate is great quality for their video games. They were also easy to mount on the wall. We got to amazon dot echos with the purchase of these TVs so that was a fun bonus for my boys. I would definitely buy these TVs again.

This TV worked efficiently the brief time that we had it; we got it June 2019 & watched it most every day during the pandemic. We left it behind in the condo we were renting bcz we replaced a 24” TV and we moved into a new home January 2020 & purchased another TV from Best Buy (yes, I’m going to write a review). We never had any problems with this TV We do recommend this TV especially for the kids more than the adults. Nice clear picture. Easy to navigate. Simple to use.

This was purchased for my bedroom, I am slowly converting my TV sets to smart TVs. I found this fairly simple to set up, I am not used to Alexa though. I find that part to be annoying, if I have to pick up the remote to tell it to tune to a station, I may as well do it myself. The picture quality is good and it is a perfect size for my bedroom, I have low ceiling so I didn't need anything large and overbearing. I purchased this on Black Friday the price I paid was excellent. I am getting used to the streaming so maybe I'll get used to Alexa one day.

I wanted a television for our bedroom that would fit in our dresser. The 40" models would have maxed out the area. This fits perfectly. What I love the most is that my wife was able to figure everything out with very little assistance. The sound is excellent, picture is vibrant and clear. We can watch Youtube, Amazon movies, and other Amazon content without any of the lag or other issues that the Fire Stick sometimes has. Our connection is via bluetooth, for now.

I got this as an open box and didn’t check the remote! My fault. The remote I got was a regular tv remote and did not work with the insignia fire TV at all. Since it was the holidays I could not get any help - kinda like “you get what you get, don’t throw a fit” response. So I had to buy a remote separately for it, which defeated the entire savings from the open box. DO NOT purchase open box without verify remote status because bestbuy will pull a fast one on you - with all that being said - the TV works really good with a clear picture.

Great picture, sound is good, loud enough so as not to need speakers. Love this size for my bedroom, and especially love that it is a Fire Tv! Alexa is your friend! I was hesitant to buy this brand as I did not know much about it, but knowing how great it is now, I highly recommend it! The price was a huge factor in my decision as I did not want to spend a lot of money on a TV for my bedroom. I got it on sale, regular price $229 sale price $129! I am a happy customer!

Bought this for an office and was amazed at the price and quick easy installation; runs the most common apps without issues; simple to set up and install additional apps; read a great deal of reviews prior to purchase but some that were negative totally missed the point. The clarity is amazing and comparable to 4K especially since the screen size is only 39" ... comes with one USB port and 3 HDMI ports for ease of access and ability to connect to devices.

For the price you cannot go wrong. I like the picture better than the 4K Vizio we bought 5 months ago. The volume is so much better than the reviews I had read. I have it on 1 or 2 at night and it is plenty load. Only dislike is the remote and the fact the you cannot go directly to you cable provider as the amazon fire screen is the default when you turn it on.

As a person with limited technological knowledge I was pleased to quickly learn to use the television remote. Along with my cable connection, I am finding it easy to channel search, order movies, etc. The picture is truly HD with beautiful colors and visibility. The Best Buy installer was an excellent technician and good trainer for his older customer. Based on my experience, my spouse went down and bought a new television for himself the following week.

I was looking for a mud-size TV and found this on the website. Just what I was looking for at the right price...and a smart TV as well.

I bought the 39-inch Insignia Fire TV Edition for a little over a month, and so far, so good. It was easy to set up and install. No problem connecting my old DVD player and VHS player. They worked like a charm. Great picture quality delivering plasma-like deep blacks and rich colors. At this price, it's hard to beat. As one of the cord cutters, it fits our needs for TV entertainment. Having Alexa at my command is a big plus, too.

I purchased this TV a little more than a month ago, and I know very little about smart TVs. This is a dream. An all-in-one. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Very intuitive. Crystal-clear picture. Common-sensible...even as far as the placement of the remote buttons. Voice activation. Powers off after a period of inactivity. Love it. Love it.

The Fire TV operates differently than my older sets and takes getting used to. Installation was simple but we have since had someone more knowledgeable tweak how the TV interfaces with our DirecTV. Now that the way the two remote controls operate has been modified and simplified we are very happy with our new Fire TV. The picture, sound and appearance of the set is good. The set is truly smart. The price was very reasonable to boot!

Excellent flat screen used in my study. Picked the Insignia for its price and the 1080p and HDTV/Fire feature. Nothing beats voice command with you are busy at the computer (or to lazy to get the remote) to tell it to change channels, go Netflix, or play "Dust is the Wind" by Kansas. If you're not trying to take up all the wall space in your room and want a neat flat screen that's smart, go Insignia and go Best Buy.

Nice quality tv. Clear sharp picture. Good for small or medium size room. Easy to access app's. TV plus is a nice added feature.

it was for my parents' room. Tv size was perfect, picture quality was good and overall great purchase with affordable price too.

Have been looking for a new TV for a while. Price of 1080p has come down a lot recently, probably because of 2160p being more common. Finally chose the Insignia 39" 1080p with Fire TV. Picture and sound quality are really good. Includes Fire TV which is a feature I wanted and works great. No issues connecting to 2.4 or 5ghz networks and Bluetooth works fine to connect remote headphones or a keyboard for example.

This TV is a great price for a great TV. Great size, great picture quality. Easy to set up.
