The TV is fine. Works well enough as a TV, but it does keep having issues with screen mirroring. The biggest issue is what happens during playback 3 to 4 times a week. Irrespective of the platform (HBO, Hulu etc) the screen will corrupt and the TV will glitch (see attached photo). It sometimes needs a hard restart (unplug replug) and other times will just restart.

The tv itself is good. Picture quality is good. The only reason why i give it a 1 star is because the tv software crashes abruptly and it just gives aloud static noise with no picture. The only way to stop it is to unplug it. Then the tv reboots the software and you can watch it again.

If you have money to waste, buy this tv. If you like to watch a program for 2 minutes (or less) before the screen glitches, buy this tv. If you like to watch a scrambled screen and listen to hideous buzzing while the tv takes its sweet time shutting down and restarting, buy this tv. You can contemplate your life choices while it's doing this because the remote is useless during this time. For the price, I wasn't expecting greatness, but i did exoect to be able to watch a program from start to finish. No can do with this piece of junk. Judging by the reviews, some people got lucky. But i wouldnt take the gamble unless you are seriously trying to cut back on the amount of tevelvision you are watching. If that's your goal, by all means head out and buy this tv. Otherwise, run far and fast from this absolute piece of trash. Pic provided for your viewing pleasure right before tv crashed yet again Do not buy.

The sound, and picture quality is good. But my TV is defective and has to be returned. I can’t stream anything and it says there is an error and something wrong with the streaming device. Only had it a few days bet it malfunctioned. I have another Insignia TV and it’s been working for 10 years.

This TV never worked from the first day I bought it. The screen just turns blurry green and makes a very loud annoying sound until it can be shut down. Best Buy customer support has been no help at all. They want me to remove it from the wall and drive 30 minutes to my nearest Best Buy to have a technician diagnose the issue to see if it can be repaired. An appointment is required to do that. So I would need to take a half day off of work just to see if they can repair a TV I paid $100 for. This is why Best Buy is going out of business. Amazon would have just returned it for me and sent me a new one. I can’t imagine it is even worth their time to have a technician try to salvage a $100 TV. Best Buy just lost a customer over their stingy policies.

I purchased this TV, and from day one, it has not worked. The screen keeps turning a green, pixelated color and then shuts off after about 30 seconds. This issue occurs several times a day. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that I would need to take the TV to my nearest Best Buy store for a technician to examine it. However, I explained that I live three hours away from the nearest store. They told me that was the only option if I wanted to get a replacement. This makes no sense, considering I bought the TV online and it was shipped to me. Best Buy does not seem to care about their customers at all. I will not be purchasing from them again—Amazon would have sent me a new one.

I would not suggest buying this TV if you plan to use it for basic antenna service. It is designed for Wi-Fi connections and enhancements from the internet. After 2 weeks of years via antenna service, my TV decided it was no longer going to find these stations and now my TV is useless. I will be returning it.

It works but every 45 minutes to 1,5 hours the screen freezes and scrambles while making a loud sound, it doesn’t turn off until you click the turn off button for about 15 seconds or unplug the tv i took it back to the store they agreed to replace it but they didn’t have the exact same tv all the ones they had were way above my budget the other option they offered is to order it for me in which case i would have to wait 3 days for it to be delivered (i need the tv and can’t wait 3 days without it) so i decided to just take it back cause a tv that works and does that and works but stops every hour is better than no tv, overall the whole experience was very disappointing

I bought this TV in November 2025 as a Christmas present for my son. When it was delivered to my house, the box was damaged, but I never imagined the TV wouldn't work. Now that we've finally managed to take it out of the box and turn it on, the TV doesn't work, and unfortunately, Best Buy says the warranty has expired.

This TV is one of the worst I've ever bought, even at this price. The light bleed from the edges makes it unbearable to watch movies with dark or even dim scenes (see photo). Now, there is no black on this TV. At best, it is dark gray. The issue started on day 16, and Best Buy's return window only allows 15 calendar days for returns, while Amazon offers 30. The Amazon price was slightly cheaper, but I usually prefer buying local. My mistake. Also, the TV's operating system is incredibly slow, and Apple HomeKit support seems to have been removed in one of the three operating system updates I was forced to endure. It flashed on the screen and then disappeared after the update. Weird.

Tv kept freezing atleast once a day. It would freeze for a few minutes then restart.
Screen is nice, colors nice, ui is quick. I would have kept if it wasnt for the random freezes.

This TV is horrible! Out of nowhere it just starts screaming and then you have to unplug it. It comes up with an error saying it cannot sense the remote. Even when I put the remote right in front of it, it still maintains that message. There are times when the speakers go out and just now they won't come back on even when I restarted it. I am taking this back tomorrow.

Figured for the price was a good deal for my daughter in her room since she does not watch sports. But the load and obnoxious sound it makes when it crashes was annoying and it was happening quite a few times a day. Swapped it for a Samsung due to multiple crashes a day and the first week I got it. Would never buy back an insignia

I bought this on 8/27/25, turned it on a week later, and today is the last day of November. The TV randomly goes into a weird screen situation and turns itself off and back on. I’ve made sure connections are secure, unplugged and plugged back in, made sure internet didn’t go out, moved TV to other rooms to test. Nothing works, it keeps happening. When it works, it’s great

I had bought 3 of these TVs at the same time since it was such a great deal. After mounting them and getting them setup about an hour into watching one it pixilated and made a horrible screeching sound on full blast until unplugged. I thought it may had just been a one off until the other TVs were turned on for about an hour as well. 10/10 do not recommend
