Use it for our camping trailer and it’s excellent. Slim and very light makes it easy to move around. Easy to sign into streaming services for shows and movies. Screen is sharp and bright worked great inside and when we took it outside. Durable too. One of the kids accidentally knocked it off the table and it was dented but the picture was perfectly fine.

Perfect for my son’s room—great value and easy to use! I got this Insignia 40″ FE Series TV for my son’s room, and it’s been a hit. The picture is nice and clear in Full HD, setup was quick, and Fire TV is super convenient for him to stream shows. It’s lightweight, looks good on the wall, and he can easily ask Alexa to launch his favorite apps. Great little TV for the price!

The television provides sharp, crisp, colorful images and perfect audio. It was very easy to install, set up, and operate, and I enjoy the included apps. An excellent product for an incredible price.

Super light, with a practically nonexistent frame around the screen (which might be a subjective choice for some, but you could say that the quoted size is close to exact with little to no added excess or wasted space). I'm not into any type of voice activated online features. This is only my secondary tv which I intend to use only with a dvd player. I keep it off the wifi and blocked the microphone on the remote. Hanging it high on the wall was nerve-wracking. You need someone with strong arms to hold it up while another person awkwardly screws it into place (we chose a flexible mount). Thank goodness the set is so light though. The picture is beautiful! It's a lovely tv!

I bought this 40” Insignia Fire TV because I needed something simple. Something humble. Something that would quietly display my streaming mistakes without demanding emotional validation. Instead, I got a perfectly functional little overachiever. Picture quality? Surprisingly crisp. Not “OLED stare-into-the-abyss-of-existence” crisp, but “I can clearly see every pore in this cooking competition” crisp. The colors pop. The blacks are black-ish. The sound exists. It turns on every time, which already makes it more reliable than several people I know. Setup was easy. It politely connected to WiFi, logged into my apps, and did not question my taste in reality television. That alone deserves five stars. HOWEVER. Within hours of plugging it in, the emails began. “Please review your purchase.” “Tell us what you think!” “Your opinion matters!” My brother in retail, I JUST turned it on. I haven’t even emotionally bonded with it yet. It’s a TV, not a newborn child needing affirmation. So here you go. It works. It shows moving pictures. It has not burst into flames. Five stars. Please stop asking me to write essays about appliances. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a $120 rectangle to stare at while it silently judges my streaming history.

Clear picture perfect size and easy to assemble. I brought this a Father’s Day gift and my dad loved it.

The set-up was easy; picture is pretty good but the sound is really weak when I use my sound bar from my previous TV. I use the "headphone" jack connection from the TV to the sound bar and even with both the TV volume turned to "100" and my sound bar at the max, the sound is still not up to what I would expect - but I can live with it. For the price, one cannot go wrong!

TV as identified online. Fit perfectly in my entertainment unit. Setup was very easy. Picture and sound was far superior to the Vizio unit that failed after 7 seven years. Would highly recommend it for the reasonable cost

Great value. Perfect size for the room we needed a TV for. Sound is just eh but we bought a small soundbar to complete the room. Picture is fine and having Amazon TV is a bonus.

A little slow on the loading at times but overall for the price, reliable, easy to use and clear picture. Not bad as a quick additional tv that you don't plan to watch your big movies on or anything cinematic.
