A bad first choice but It turned out well

The salesman saw that as an opportunity to unload the Insignia 40" which I purchashed, took home and set up. Day by day my dissatisfaction increased. The picture was not good. The salesman told me I did not need anything better since I was using it as a monitor. I finally could take it no more and after about 12 days (still within the no fault return parameters) I returned it and for a few dollars more bought a TV with the stats I originally explained to the original salesman who was more interested in selling the Insignia than in fulfilling my request by directing me to a more suitable product. After dropping my Insignia at the front desk for returns, I selected a TCL 43" Android TV. This suits my needs perfectly. In fact the new salesman told me that he would have NOT recommended I buy the Insignia. I usually feel confident when I make a purchase at Best Buy, but this has thrown me off a bit... not sure I will trust their advice/counsel anymore. Do the research before you buy.

I'm sure he'd like a Sony tv, but said besides the the irritating lady's voice that comes on when he powers the tv on/off, the television was a good choice for a broke bachelor.

I watch tc, movies, plays games and no issues so far. Plenty of ports to hook things up. Only thing I would suggest is a good sound bar or kit and you're set pretty much.
