This TV was a gift for my dad at Christmas 2022 to replace his old box TV that he would never part with even when the picture had lines through it. We live together and I can finally say I enjoy watching TV with him with good picture quality. It is easy to navigate, the sound is great and we have had no technical issues with it whatsoever.

On June 8th I purchased Insignia™ - 43" Class N10 Series LED Full HD. On June 16th I chatted with a Best Buy agent to canceled my geek squad plan to a speaker that was not able to be delivered due to being damaged in transportation. They canceled my geek squad plan on my Insignia™ - 43" Class N10 Series LED Full HD TV instead. The reason I bought this 43” T.V. was because of the Geek squad plan provider to do in-home service TV’s over 42”. Due to being disable am not able to go anywhere. From June 16th till June 25th I had to repeat my issue multiple times to different agents. They gave me the runaround telling me to wait 5-7 days to reinstate my plan. On June 26th I called geek squad to find out the status of the issue. Come to find out that they were not going to reinstate my plan. Unable to take the tv to the store to add the geek squad plan due to mobility and assuring the problem would be correct I didn't return the T.V. June 24 was the last day to return it. I was not asking for a discount or a free plan. I just need to have the mistake the agent corrected. Now, what am I supposed to do if something happens to my T.V? I will never deal with the best buy or geek squad. Due to the lack of communication, promise to correct the issue, customer concerns promptly and efficiently. By the TV is great.

Great for price, but with small annoyance

Everything about the picture and quality is great for the price. The really only annoying part are the two plastic stand pieces that screw onto the bottom. They never quite screw in very well, and this tv is no exception. I ended up having to use a bit of super glue to keep the screen from wobbling around. In the future I would much prefer a solid stand that is already attached to the screen, but I’m sure packaging is much for cost efficient this way. So overall, great screen size for the price, and if you don’t care about fighting with the wobbly plastic stand pieces then you’re in good shape. I’d buy it again for that price for sure.

Great No Frills Display Using For Laptop Monitor!

Very good no frills HDTV (non-smart) using as laptop monitor. Nice colors, plenty of controls for display esp for auto sizing for computer display so edges are perfect. Only downside is that auto-shutdown with no signal does not appear to be an option esp for using TV displays as computer monitors. Of course need to get a display stand to move it higher than my laptop. Biggest upside is that this is BIG 43 inch display for displaying multiple window shots on same display at near full size and fits just right on my computer desk. Any bigger would be too big! Thin and light enough to not cause any problems with moving and adjusting.

    Simple, non-Smart TV (with compromises)

This was my replacement choice for another TV that I returned. Ultimately I wanted a "dumb" TV. Positives; This is NOT a smart TV, It has 3 HDMI connections, so 1 must be sacrificed for favorite "streaming" source. The benefits of non-smart are that the TV quickly powers up without fuss, and it politely remembers which source was last used. This is a relatively lightweight TV, although the stands require a long footprint. 43" is a slightly larger screen than I wanted, but it is still not "too big" for my area. The native audio is good, and I had no trouble connecting to a soundbar (optical connection). Neutral(s): Picture quality is so-so, with only rather crude options for calibrating. The controls for picture and audio set the floor for "no frills". I was only looking for 1920x1080 and I got it. USB interfaces is for photos (or power) only. While I am disappointed to not be able to play video via USB, I can't criticize the interface for being amateurish (there are some BAD ones out there!) when it doesn't even exist. Negative(s) As a "dumb" TV, I would have expected better placement for the ports (which are squarely dead-center on the back). They are not easy to access while the TV is mounted on stands; obviously wall-mounts make compromises. Personally: I need 4 HDMI ports for "dumb" TVs (with all my gear), especially if such TVs won't natively support USB playback of video. This TV was a reasonable compromise, especially considering the price.

So far so good. I've had this TV for a few months now and it's a great TV. The picture is crystal clear and the set up was easy peasy I did everything myself. The only set back I had is the TV's two stands are on the far ends and it wouldn't sit on top of my wardrobe without the legs going over the edges, so I had to purchase a TV stand for it and now it's just great.

This TV doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but you'd never know it watching it. The picture is crystal clear and the remote is super easy to navigate. Set up of the set was also super easy.

The reviews on this tv were pretty good, and I did not want a smart tv - just a basic tv, so I bought one for our sunroom. We liked it so much I went and bought another one for the living room and moved the smaller one in the living room to our bedroom. So far, we are pleased with both Insignia tv's. The colors are good and clear, the sound is loud enough for us. We us an outside antenna and get over 40 stations. The setup was extremely easy. I would highly recommend.

Depending on the input, this TV can have an incredible picture (especially for just a DUMB TV)! Even with just an over-the-air powered antenna, you can watch free/local channels in stunning detail. And believe it or not, there are plenty of them out there, no matter where you live. Also, you can buy a 'Native Union' Type-C to HDMI (or other brand) cable that plugs into your phone's charging port and connects into one of the HDMI inputs on the television, and it can play anything that is on your phone (I believe that the cables are specifically designed for this so, make sure that you get the right one). It will actually display EXACTLY what is on your phone screen, just choose the correct input on the TV and you now have a 43" phone screen. Pick out a movie or whatever else is on your phone and now, it's on the TV screen. Not 100% sure that it works with all phones but, I believe it does; maybe Google your specific phone or ask a Best Buy associate. I've only had it a few weeks but, so far - so good!!! Highly Recommend!!!

I wanted a simple television with a full remote control, and number buttons. This is not another tv with needless apps, and menus. This thing is just simple, the way I want it at the end of the work day. If you don't want another application menu tv, you just want easy then this is for you. Sound quality is very good for me. I have hearing issues, I didn't have to buy a sound bar to improve sound quality. Nice and simple for the aged.

Solid, Insignia TV on a budget.

We had a 6-7 year old, 48" Insignia TV that sadly got messed up in a power surge and needed replacement. This is now the largest, non smart TV we could find. We already have and use a 4k Firestick, which tends to have a faster processor than most of the lower priced smart TVs, and were looking for a decent, no frills TV on a budget sonce we were not planning on buying one at this time. Overall, we are very happy with this TV. It does everything it is supposed to. The picture quality is very good, the size is perfect for the smaller apartment that we live in, and it has (3) hdmi ports for accessories. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars may not even be this TV's fault, but once in a while, while streaming with the additional Firestick, the sound will get slightly off from the picture and we will need to restart the firestick to fix the issue. We never had to do that with our previous, larger insignia. Both were 1080 60hz refresh, so either the Firestick got messed up a little from the surge as well, or this TV is slightly inferior to the larger, more expensive model we previously had, resulting in the picture occasionally falling behind the sound. But this is still rare, and easily fixed by resetting the stream. It may be our internet or streaming device, but it may also be the inexpensive TV... Aside from that, still a perfect TV on a budget. We have always had Insignia and they never disappoint. My first TV is still going strong 14 years later at my parent's home, our second one (which was a size upgrade) only died after 7 years due to a surge, so we expect this one to only be replaced if we want a future upgrade.
