Insignia - awesome TV !!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this 43 inch Insignia for $ 149 on sale. It’s for our bedroom. We really like the TV. This is my second Insignia TV first was a 50 inch bought 7 yrs ago and it is still works great. Good solid built priced right TVs . Picture and quality are just as good as the bigger name brands.

Love my not "smart" TV.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great bedroom TV. Crisp clear picture. Great sound. Lightweight but solid. Easy set up. Only drawback for me is the audible female voice that announces TV on and off and volumn number when you increase or decrease volumn or mute the sound and other things. It's not a "smart"TV but still a great TV for the cost.

More than just a bargain
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price, nice picture and sound. The legs are not great, loose and too far apart, but otherwise great purchase.

Good tv, better price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv twice, once for my teen son and got another for my 5 year old to replace her current one. It works great and the picture is clear and crisp. The install and set up to fire stick and wifi was pretty easy. If you have a smaller surface be mindful because the legs do protrude out farther than I expected. All in all, a great buy.

Great TV for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture quality. Like the HDMI and other port location. Simple to use menu. Decent sounding speakers. Love that there are no Smart TV features. The only thing I don't like is the little "feet" that the TV stands on. They feel cheap, and it was hard for me to tighten the screws.

Insignia TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just unboxed this tv last night due to my living room tv crapping out-plays sound but black screen (Vizio). So far so good. It is very light as I was able to unbox and set up by myself. Thought I was going to have a problem with the stand legs as the screws did not seem long enough or something but ended up getting the electric screwdriver out and that did the trick for putting screws in on handles. Set up is super easy and quick. Great picture and sound

A superb TV, unbeatable at the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second 43" Insignia. The older one is in my bedroom and in perfect condition. I am using my new one as my computer monitor in my home office as I type this, and I have been watching sports all day on it. The 1080p picture is razor sharp, the colors are vivid, and as a monitor the TV is superb. I love this television.

This is the TV you're looking for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for over-the-air. Great for set-top boxes and media players. Great for Apple TV. Yes, this a "dumb" TV. That means it has a normal remote, powers on quickly, and works as expected. It seems like most TV options have terrible and slow operation systems based on Roku or Fire TV. Those TVs power on and boot slowly, have laggy interfaces, and are quickly outdated as newer apps run slower and slower. The remotes that usually come with "smart" TVs are garbage. This TV comes with a remote like you'd expect (and one that won't confuse grandparents used to old remotes), and works fine with any universal remote of your choice. The TV fully supports CEC, so you can use its remote with connected devices (including the Apple TV) or control the TV with a connected device's remote. The picture is great (I switched to the "Movie" preset, then turned down the backlight to 30, sharpness to 25, disabled dynamic contrast, auto backlight, and the auto Vivid mode). The sound is pretty good. It quickly switches from 60 Hz to 24 Hz when watching movies. The TV is nothing fancy. It's just a basic TV that works as expected, and unfortunately that is becoming rarer and rare these days. I just wish Insignia made these "dumb" TVs in larger sizes.

No Frills, But No Hassles, and at a great price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the TV that made me buy another rather than limp along with my old (well, 8 year old) big screen. The price for better resolution and connectivity was less than I paid for the one I'm retiring. No, it's not smart. Don't need that, because I work long hours and don't watch more than perhaps an hour a day on average (and not because I'm consuming video from my phone.) Sure, it's not 4K. But it's good for my purposes, a no-brainer to set up, and I have no need to impose my will on it by barking commands, I'm fully comfortable with an old-fashioned, keep-yer-mouth-shut remote. I've already used it as a video monitor for a multi-camera livestream with a Black Magic ATEM, and I set it up at home with my power antenna (where in a Cleveland exurb I get 53 channels) and a home system with DVD and 5.1 speakers, Works fine, and it cost me less than any other piece of the system. Need a bigger screen or better resolution? You have myriad choices. But if you just need an HD screen this size with no "Smart" features, I don't think you can do better at this price.

Works great with Apple TV.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture, great price, and no smart tv aggravation. I prefer Apple TV instead of suffering through the slow, privacy invading, and rapid obsolescence of smart TVs. This fits the bill perfectly. I use the little HomePods as a stereo pair so the sound quality is not an issue for me.

Great LED HD TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is great and the built-in speakers are perfect for a bedroom setting. I tested it with the TV mounts for a few days to make sure I was pleased with the quality and I was. It weighs less than 15 pounds and I mounted it on the wall by myself. Although it is pretty light-weight, ensure that the wall mounting instructions are followed. Overall, I am quite pleased with the quality of this TV and certainly recommend it.
